We are planning to invite popular celebrity guests to answer the community's questions for a 24 hour period. I'd love to hear who you would like us to invite! We'll extend invitations to them and set the dates in a calendar for each one we host. So please, share with us who you would like to talk to. :blahblah.gif orngbiggrin.gif

Michelle Obama

Mayim Balik (not that I really want to talk to her, but I think it would be super interesting to have her answer questions)

Pink

Beyonce

I dunno, I cant really think of anyone else. I assume we are talking mom-style here. Otherwise I'd love to talk to Jon Stewart.

Eckhart Tolle
Gangaji

Neither are celebrities but both are authors and spiritual teachers and I would love to ask them questions about children and parenting.

As for other celebrities, well, I don't really look to them for parenting stuff so to me it's irrelevant.

By celebrities I didn't really mean Hollywood or TV stars. I meant more along the line of pregnancy, birth and parenting celebrities - like Ina May Gaskin, the LLL founders, etc.  Poor choice of wording I guess. shy.gif

actually since tom hanks made that funny skit on child beauty contests i wouldnt mind him being on there. might be nice to have a light moment.

i am a great admirer of Louise Ames Bates founder of the Gesell Insititute. since she passed away in 1996 i'd love to hear from a parenting leader from that institute.

would love to meet all the authors whose books we refer to here all the time

Alfie Kohn of course

author of playful parenting. is it lawrence J Kohn?

author of out of sync child

the author of the book on how children are suffering due to lack of nature in their lives (what is his name?)

would love to hear from international people too. sorta kinda like the babies movie. maybe one of the producers

perhaps child psychologists from italy, kenya, india, japan, china, france?!!!
