May I join in the "11th hour"?

I have been a part of the Feb birth group because by going by my last missed period my due date should be Feb 8th. I've been measuring 6-8 weeks ahead the whole time and thinking possibly twins, but we finally caved and had an ultrasound yesterday. It showed one baby that measures about 32-33 weeks along... right on with my fundal measurements.

So, that makes my new edd Dec 28th! That cuts the time I have left about in half. :)

So... do you mind if I join up and feel more at home with bigger bellies like mine that aren't twins? I was beginning to feel so huge compared to everyone else, but looking at Dec bellies makes me feel much more normal.

I have had four home births, and hope for the same with this one. Two were with a wonderful MW, and the other two were caught by my husband with the midwife on the phone. This baby will be the tie breaker. ;)

WOWZA! I can't imagine finding out I have 6 less weeks than I thought I did! But I can see from your signature line that you are not new to this mama stuff so I'm sure you are adjusting just fine to this news!

Hey, we're due around the same time and I too am on my fifth LOL. Two girls then two boys all born at home, so I call this one jokingly the tie breaker. The last one here was caught by DH as the mw didn't make it (also on phone in the background). It seems from your story it can happen that way twice, though DH would rather catch with her there. :)
