I used to hang out all over MDC back in the day but it has definitely changed.  I think a lot of the "old-timers" burnt out and got busy with all the kids they had (I know I did).

Yep.  I am not pregnant and my kids are getting older so I just haven't found the need for support.  I also backed way off of MDC with the whole troll thing... it made me realize I really can't post things here when it comes to my own personal life unless I want to start a new username, since its so easy to figure out who I am IRL if you wanted to.  This may sound a bit harsh as well, but I got really tired of the same questions being asked every single day, and just sort of got bored.  Birth supply listing gets old 

  I do like to come have a look now and then but it's hard to get engaged.  I really liked reading when it was busier, there are a lot of great women who've contributed here.

I remember before all the changes when the boards were green. There was a lot of activity on all of the boards. It was great! It has gotten a lot more mainstream now since all the changes and not as supportive as it was before. Which is a big reason why I left for so long. But its not helping to have support if you leave so I'm back. I do miss the stickies though. There were TONS of useful links and book recommendations and websites to get supplies! Like the link for the Emergency Childbirth free pdf was linked there. I use to have it saved but that computer crashed with no chance of saving any of those files or pictures of my kiddos births, ect. Anyway. I look forward to getting to know the new crew.
