I have a 15 month old son who was born July 30th 2011 (conceived around oct 15) and while I don't know my edd for this one yet (irregular cycles), I can only assume it will be late July as well.  :)

I am very shocked to be here, I just poas this morning after my period was absent.  We used charting/NFP to loosely prevent pregnancy.

I'm still nursing as well and noticed sometime in the past week and a half that my nipples were very sore while bfing and I thought nothing of  it

Ok, I am gonna dip my toe in the water.....

I am Kelly, this is my 7th pregnancy and hopefully, 4th child. I have a son 7.5, daughter almost 5, and another daughter just turned 3. We have been TTC this baby since DD2 was born and had 1 m/c last month.

So far, everything seems to be going in the right direction. 1st beta was 746 and I just had my blood drawn for the second beta today. Crossing my fingers until tomorrow when I see what the number is doing! I am guessing at an EDD of 7/15. My first summer baby and now, I will be pg in Texas! HOT!

About me, I homeschool and love to read and knit. I am really looking forward to getting to know you all!

I know, right! Ack! LOL At least it isn't hot for the first trimester. I've been feeling gross and read it is worse if you get too hot.

My first was due in August...it was ridiculous..even with my parent's a/c and pool (which I lived in).  This time around, we don't have air conditioning or a pool...should be interesting!

Hello all. I am Adrianne, I am a Christian SAHM, have one DD (2ish) and am our EDD for our 2nd is July 21st. I am married. In MN. I also suspect twins (strange!) but we will see. I am super duper excited as is my husband!!! I would like to have natural childbirth but have PTSD due to a history of abuse so, last time it didn't work but praying for less fear and more strength this time around :D

YAY! WHEEEEEEEE!

Won't it be interesting to see how many of us that are suspecting twins actually turn out to be having them?

Hello mamas!

I'm Monika, from Ontario (Canada). I'm happily married and have a sweet 19.5 month old nursling. DH and I stopped preventing and were looking at starting TTC in the new year but we got a little ahead of ourselves lol. Our aim is to have two kids and we seem to have an easy time getting pregnant (thankfully). DD happened the first time we had the timing guessed right and this time we weren't even really trying yet. I'm due mid July but we will have a dating US done to nail down dates. I had a faint BFP then a BFN but the bloodiest confirmed it. I look forward to getting to know you ladies better. In the meantime, congrats everyone joy.gif

I would love to join in this thread! My due date is July 28th!

A brief intro: I live in Portland, Oregon--I see there are a couple other mama's who live in Oregon too! It's been a crazy year--my husband is in grad school and works full time so I am trying to balance it all. Previously a social worker>doula>Montessori Teacher> photographer. My husband and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who has always been such a delight to parent but recently is showing some fun, new and challenging behaviors;). She attends Montessori school 3 days a week and I get to be with her the other 2. We finally feel "ready" and excited to add to our family.

We are doing a lot of traveling for the holidays and I was VERY sick during my last pregnancy so I wonder how this one will go. I also think about the birth because our plan was to have a birthing center, unmedicated birth and I ended up having HBP at 36 week and it never came down. Tried EVERYTHING to get it down. Ended up in the hospital and with a c-section:(  I was crushed at first because as a doula, I have seen so many beautiful births and hoped that for me as well.  But of course I was relieved to have a healthy baby.  I hope to have a healthier and better experience this time (and its most likely my last time).

Things I am doing so far: taking Garden of Life prenatals, liquid cal/mag, fish oil...I make green juice in my Vitamix every morning with chia seeds and coconut oil.  I am trying to snack on raw sprouted nuts, hummus, fruit, yogurt....last time I started getting really sick around 6 weeks so I am just trying to get used to snacking through out the day.

Anyone else have any other tips or suggestions for a healthy pregnancy?  Nice to meet you all!

Wishing you all healthy, positive and happy pregnancies!

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Hi, My name is Fiona and I am expecting my fifth, around July 17th.  We live in Canada, and just moved to one of the gulf islands.  My four children are ds 11, dd8, dd6, ds4.   With all four of my pregnancies I had pretty severe nausea for the whole 9 months.  I am so excited to be pregnant but am so nervous to go through that again.  I look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hello! I'm a Portuguese momma living in the midwest USA, I'm currently almost 8w, due July1st with my 3rd baby. My first son (11yo) was emergency c-section, very sad experience, my 19mo baby girl was born 10 years after, VBAC and homebirthed born at 41w3d, was the most amazing thing I've done, and this little one will also have a homebirth, as I developed a lot of fears from OB's and Hospitals in general, I believe my cervix has issues performing under fluorescent lights.

I'm also still (kinda) nursing, in the last week or so I've been very dry, she will swallow maybe once during a session, but she enjoys the confort especially with those upper canines coming in.

Very excited to be here, hopefully get to know all the mommas a little better! biggrinbounce.gif

Hello! I'm Cheri, momma to a Kindergartener. We deferred pregnancy for awhile and then realized I wasn't ovulating regularly so we got a little more serious about TTC and got a BFP on the day I was supposed to start Provera- crazy! Based on my LMP my EDC should be 6/27/13 but I'm not trusting that I o'd on CD 14 since my cycles were lasting months at a time. I work full time and we are toying with the idea of DH being a SAHD for a year or so. I wish I could but it's not financially feasible- blah!

We had a hospital birth the first time around and would like to try HB but had some complications with DS that might risk me out... not sure. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations and sticky vibes to all you mommas who have had losses!

I am Sara, and am probably totally jinxing myself by posting here. I have had losses at 8 weeks, and 5 weeks, and a chemical pregnancy. My 8 week loss was a blighted ovum, and my other two were low (undiagnosed at the time) progesterone, so maybe things will go better this time. I am due on July 24th. (And my progesterone is currently awesome with the help of Crinone!)

I am currently a mother figure to a 9 year old stepdaughter, a 4 year old foster daughter, and 2.5 yo and 7 month old foster sons. I do a lot of mothering for someone who has never been called Mama.

Not gonna be posting very much at first. It hurts too much to leave.
