How is everyone feeling?? - Page 2

Feeling pretty good so far (for me). I've been dealing with fatigue anyway so haven't really noticed a difference there. My first symptom this time was heartburn. I only get heartburn on an extremely rare occasion. When I had it four nights in a row that just strengthened my suspicion. Also, had severe hip pain last time that never went completely away. So I'm planning to go to the chiropractor soon to try and keep that from happening so bad this time.

I'm tired too. Started to feel waves of nausea a few days before 6 weeks but nothing too bad so far....strangely I also feel super hungry sometimes. Which, I certainly did NOT feel during 1st tri in my previous 2 pregnancies. I have nipple pain too, my 32month old is still nursing so I think that is contributing. Other then that, I feel pretty normal so far.  :)

Nausea has arrived today at exactly 6 weeks in full force! I have only been able to eat buttered popcorn with nutritional yeast and salt. I need some more options, saltines are not appealing.
Ohhh, I ate so many saltines with my first baby almost 22 years ago, that to this day, I still don't like them! Ginger is something you can try if you haven't already. Ginger tea, ginger capsules, candied ginger (okay, not the healthiest, but tasty!). A lot of people have success with it.

I've slept/been in bed resting for about 16-17 out of the last 24 hours.

My house was a mess, but my Mama came over and cleaned it for me <3

Talldarkeyes, how do hard, salted pretzels sound? I found chewing on something mint helps the nausea subside sometimes.. Hope you find more appealing foods soon, I lived on popcorn and pretzels for a while during my first pregnancy. :s

Hi! I just found out that I am pregnant last Thursday and I was hoping to join you. I am 5 weeks along today :) We are super happy, we have been trying for w while and this is our first child! Today was the first time I felt nauseous. It happened during the middle of the day to. I felt like I was going to throw up, and then it went away after about 10 minutes.

Also, I have been having some little cramps, which has me really worried. Do any of you have the same thing?

Congrats Inlove! A little bit of cramping can be totally normal but if its enough to concern you or if it accompanies bleeding, it's probably a good idea to talk to your care provider. I felt some minor cramping, very low sometimes too. I did in both my previous pregnancies.

Yey! Made it to 6 weeks today!!! Big milestone after 4.5 week loss in September. :)

Bad dream this morning though. In my dream I was bleeding a lot and I was still pregnant, but scared to lose my baby. Worst part is the dream felt real. Was happy to wake up from that one!

Hard pretzels don't sound very good but soft ones do! My teeth are incredibly sensitive right now o I decided to take some calcium supplements. I cant eat anything with sugar or it hurts so bad! I would be scared it was cavities if the same thing hadn't happened with my pregnancy with DD. I haven't had that symptom with any of my other 3 miscarriages so I hope it means this one will stick! I have been able to eat chicken and rice soup made with bone broth and topped with butter for extra calories. It is very good but I find I get full faster than before.

I read yesterday that nausea in pregnancy is caused by magnesium deficiency so I started spraying more mag chloride oil (aiming for about 30 sprays/day) and today I noticed a BIG difference! I am not so constipated and the nausea, while there, isn't as severe. I am also hungry more often today than I was yesterday.

Yay! Here's for a sticky bean!

Ugh, I'm feeling worse. My insides feel disgusting and feel somewhat nauseated. It feels painful if I don't eat and drink plenty. I remember some of this from previous pregnancies, but it is funny how time makes things fuzzy. I am so not excited about this. :(

I want everything to be fine and for this pregnancy to bring forth a healthy baby(ies.) But, this is going to suck. If I miscarry this time, I don't think I could convince myself to get pregnant again. I am feeling like this will be my last intentional pregnancy. I'm getting worn out and I just really don't want to keep going through more pregnancies. I love my kids so much! I just hate pregnancy! I remember with my DD I thought to myself I must have been insane to get pregnant again and now she is such a joy to my life. I'm feeling like that again. I feel like a crazy person for having decided to get pregnant again. I'm just praying I get rewarded with a baby for my effort.

I get where you're coming from. I don't do pregnancy too well. My body is very sensitive to the relaxin hormone so I end up in a lot of pain. Last time, my hips hurt so bad that I could hardly even lay down. I would constantly have to turn from side to side to give each hip a break. The hip pain never went completely after birth either. I'm planning to go to the chiropractor as soon as we get paid and regularly thereafter to try to minimize the pain this time. I also get a a weird just general blah feeling, which has only happened twice so far and I'd be very happy if it didn't come back. Also get muscle fatigue and weakness that they could never figure out what caused it. That's started now too.

That said, I'm really trying to enjoy being pregnant again. It wasn't planned and I know it will be my last pregnancy. So, I'm trying to savor the good stuff. Can't wait to feel movement! That's one of my favorite parts of being pregnant!

I've had hyperemesis with all my pregnancies and I know I've sworn I would never do it again each time! Its amazing how you forget after the baby is born!

dayiscoming- I understand what you mean about it this one ends in miscarriage.  I can't see myself getting pregnant again if I have another loss.  I've never experienced anything so awful.  And my anxiety levels are like an 11 out of 10 right now...I can't imagine how I'd be after multiple losses.

Stomach flu and morning sickness nausea over here today. My little kids and hubby were sick over the weekend, i was hopeful it would miss me but not so lucky... I have to say that getting the flu when your already feeling icky and tired REALLY sucks greensad.gif

I had lots of dull cramping with my dd as well as with my first pregnancy that ended in m/c.  I think that's just part of what my body does when adjusting to pregnancy.   I was super anxious with cramping during my second pregnancy (after my miscarriage) and went in for a handful of early ultrasounds with no problems ever found (once I also had light bleeding) and delivered a super healthy babe.  Everyone's body is different but definitely talk to your provider if you're concerned.

InLove2009: light cramping is normal.

Thanks everyone! I talked to the doctor today, and he said there is nothing to worry about. He officially confirmed my pregnancy :)

I am still feeling a little nauseous, but no puking yet. By boobs are big and sore! To wear my bra is really uncomfortable. And I am bloated beyond believe!
