Sorry to hear that :(

I had an ultrasound and my due date got moved back a week. (that  happened with baby #1 too).

It was july 17 but is now july 23rd.  My first baby was born 2-3 weeks past his due date so I'm happy for the extra time, this is why I requested the dating scan.

I dont think I will deliver until First or 2nd week of August

I had an ultrasound today. Baby has a good strong heartbeat and is measuring at only 10 weeks 4 days. So, they said my due date should be 7/12. I am sure of when I ovulated and got an early positive in the third week, so I know the 8th is probably right. I'm not sure which my midwife will want to go with. I'll just go with what she says I think.

Hi everyone! My name is lisa. I am due on the 27th. This is my second pregnancy. My first resulted in a missed miscarriage and I had to have a d and c in August. My husband and I are hopeful that this one will be okay. I had my first ultrasound a couple days ago (7w5d) and we got to see our little bug! Heart was beating 167 bpm. We are going to find out the sex when we can.

I have more symptoms this time too (particularly the nausea) so I'm thinking maybe boy since pregnancy with DD was easier lol. I wonder if there's any correlation between a pregnancy that feels different and having a different gender. Of course it could just be that I'm older now smile.gif

Estimated due date July 29th, but I'll know more January 7th with my dating ultrasound. Trying to think happy, positive thoughts.

My name's Lisa, EDD is July 28.

This is my second pregnancy and I expect it to go late (went 42 wks with #1)

We're not going to find out baby's sex, but the husband's gut reaction was this will be a girl. I'm not sure yet, so we'll see this summer!

A friend of mine who is pregnant with 5, all different sexes each time, says it made no difference. But I also have bad skin, and had flawless skin with both boys. Just totally different. This nausea is horrid!

No clue on gender. Hoping girl as we have a name for one. Not a flippin CLUE what a boys name looks like now that we used our sons..

Had an ultrasound this week and they said definitely only one baby (dang, I was really hoping for and thought there were two) and they adjusted my due date to July 17th. Not much of a difference, but I definitely like extra days rather than fewer.

Hello, my name is Becky, and I'm due on July 25th.  Obviously, I have no idea what sex my fetus is!  I don't really care either, and since my husband doesn't want to know before it's born, I doubt we'll find out on purpose.

Make sure you tell the ultrasound tech you don't want to know. I made the mistake of thinking they wouldn't tell you unless you ask. Doesn't always work that way. :)

Good point, dayiscoming2006! I had forgotten that might happen.  Although, since I've seen so many ultrasounds by now, I'll probably be able to distinguish the sex myself if it's visible - I'll just have to keep it to myself!

The techs were really good about not revealing the gender with DD. They had the screen turned away to do all their measurements and investigations (I couldn't see anything) and once they were done all that they invited DH in, turned the screen and showed us baby carefully. I even had an US at 32 weeks and they showed us the head, then chest and arms, and finally legs - no accidental views of the groin ever. I did start each US with "we don't know the gender of this baby and it's important to us not to find out. Please don't tell us or show us anything that would reveal the gender." Maybe US are done differently in other regions but they were very careful and respectful with me (and I had multiple US past 18 weeks).

I'm due on July 17/18 based on date of conception. I did not find out the gener for my older daughter, we only ever had one US when she kept flipping to breech and the midwife could not ascertain her postion, but I do want to find out this time. I think it will make is more concrete for her if we can tell her if a brother or sister is expected, and also I can pick up clothes as I find them at the thrift store rather than waiting until after the birth.
