I was wondering something that I can't find much information about.
I have to take B12 injections once a month, because I had my large intestine removed and part of my small intestine that absorbs B12 was also removed, so my body can't absorb B12 through food or oral supplements. So far, just taking one shot a month (I think its 1cc on the syringe) has been helpful in keeping my B12 levels in normal range.
But, I was wondering if i will have to take more B12 if I become pregnant. I am still trying to become pregnant (month 2 so far of trying), but want to know all of this before I get pregnant.
Does anyone on here have to take B12 injections and had to increase the dose when they became pregnant?
