Apart from typical spit up as a baby, this is only the second time 19 month old DD has thrown up. The first time was maybe a mouthful and it really didn't seem to upset her. This time she drenched herself, me and the recliner we were nursing in. She was shocked, cried a little but calmed down easily and then shortly became her bubbly self again. She had a fair sized meal then a car ride to grandmas where she drank a LOT of water very quickly (500 in an hour or less), then a car ride home again. The food was fresh and safe (both DH and I had lots with no ill effects) and she doesn't seem to have a stomach flu. She calmed down easily and has nursed to sleep. My instincts tell me that she was probably just way too full and her body did what it needed to do to feel better. I'm inclined to see how things go tonight and not call the dr unless she feels worse again. Any thoughts or similar experiences? I'm sleeping with her in her room to be on the safe side in case she is unwell again. Do you think I should be worried?
