Sleeeeeeeep!

I can not get over how sleepy I am!!  I've been in bed with my kids by 8 for the last 2-3 weeks!  And I still need to nap by late afternoon!  In my last 4 pregnancies, it was never like this!  Unreal!

Anyone else having trouble staying awake?

I can't stay awake at all. Been sleeping 9+ hours at night and wiped out all day. I had it with my other 3, but I really thought this time I would be able to work around it. When I wake up its like coming out of anesthesia! Totally bizarre and overwhelming!

yes...like they say it's like the sleep of the dead--so deep. and then it's like coming from very far away--even my naps are like this. and i'm napping every single day with my son...and falling asleep when he nurses down at 6:30. i do wake up between 8:30 &9:30 and usually stay awake an hour or two before going back to sleep. but it's crazy sleepy time.

last pregnancy i went to bed really early...but i can't remember if i napped, but that was before kiddo, so i did get a full nights, uninterrupted sleep (unlike now :)) i think it primarily lasted through 1st trimester...but can't remember...

I'm thankful that all my kids sleep great through the night and they all were doing that by like 6-8 months old at the latest I think? I feel somewhat sleepy all day, but I go to bed around 9 and wake up around 5:30-6 every morning at the moment. Though, this morning I woke up at 5:20 after having gone to bed later because of being out of the house and stuff. I was just too tired to get up. I laid there until 6 when my alarm went off. Turned it off and said I'd get up in a minute, woke up at almost 7. Oops!

I am also very tired. However, i think I am so tired because I am not sleeping well. I have always had sleeping problems. I used to take melatonin at night. However, the label reads that one shouldn't take it during pregnancy. I am also having these really vivid dreams!

Also, I am so hungry all the time! I used to take Aderrall, but I stopped the day I found out. I am worried how I am going to function without it. I hope to graduate in March with the Bachelors, but I am worried that I will ruin my GPA without my prescription. But I wonder if that is why I am always starving now.

I feel hungry a lot and I've never taken aderral. I was also taking melatonin until I found out it isn't best to take it in pregnancy. I found that after I started to take sublingual methyl B12, I was able to sleep pretty normally except for extra wakings to go to the bathroom. Maybe that would help you.
