We've been slowly telling people, his parents, my parents, some close family. My manager found out after I had a meltdown at work because I was so tired/vomiting/sore. I think we'll tell more once we heard the heartbeat. I want to post the velociraptor picture.

We told my family and stuff right away. We told on facebook after the ultrasound/heartbeat was heard last week.

We told a few friends as soon as the 2 lines showed up. Then waited a week or so to tell family one at a time. Then announced it on fb. I'm a firm believer in sharing the joy asap. And if something bad happens then people who can support you know about it. And they get to share in the joy with you as well!! We are terrible at secrets. Lol

Same, slowly telling as I see them. Kinda awkward as this means casual acquaintances know but my sister doesnt. I'm tired of getting harassed for due date, gender, names. This time I'm not telling anybody anything or not finding out myself. I'm excited to keep this off Facebook until I post the birth announcement. Luckily I'm not sick at all nor popping sooner than a mistakable bloat so this can still be my little secret when I choose.

I told my best friend as soon as the 2nd stripe appeared, and then told my parents - that was all at 4 weeks. Then told people around me that are close to me over the next 2 weeks, and announced on FB at 8 weeks. I feel if anything happens then I have the support of my loved ones around me. I am not a person who can keep quiet. It is nice that everyone knows. Share our happiness.

I told my boss right away because of how I was feeling, and 2 out of town friends as soon as the line showed!!  My mom came at Thanksgiving when I was 8 weeks and still bloated, she patted my belly and asked when I was due (this is the 8th time I've been 12+ weeks pregnant and I'm a pretty skinny person, so it was obvious :() so she knows.  DH has told a few people at work trying to plan for his leave time in June (baby coming by c-section in early/mid June).  But we haven't announced to anyone.  I know we can't hide it much longer because my stomach is visibly sticking out BUT we won't see his family at least until AFTER baby comes so who knows when he'll tell them.  His sister is due June 15th and isn't very keen on sharing things so maybe we can avoid telling them for a long time LOL.  My dad and his family will find out next weekend when we visit them.  I'm sure my step mom will be able to tell by looking at me and I'll be 13+ weeks when we get there.  I'm still struggling with nausea too so that will be hard to hide from anyone we're staying with.

I thought you guys might enjoy watching it. It's pretty funny. My hubby and I were not looking our best by any means, the clips with us in them were done spur of the moment and then DH edited them to make it funny.

We announced on FB at the beginning of this past week. It's relieving to finally have it out there.

We haven't made an official announcement yet but I don't think it's really necessary, as you've all seen, it's kind of obvious.

I'm kind of not wanting to tell people at work because they're all SUPER TOUCHY!! and I do not enjoy having my stomach/body touched by people I don't know. I may or may not have taken pictures of my pee stick and sent it to my best friend. Because that's what you do.

How CUTE!! and so very creative!!  I think there's a stigma surrounding having "baby number 6" (we are praying that this is our number 6 too :) and there are lots of strange looks and comments.  Who knows when we'll share with his family, they all suck right now anyway LOL

I don't think it is just number 6, I think it is anything above the average amount. I got comments when I was pregnant with number 3, even though I had 2 boys and usually they give you the free pass in that case. LOL

I agree!!  Since we have 3 girls and 2 boys (living) we kept getting the "why would you want more and risk upsetting balance" etc and honestly we'd like for this one to be a girl because of room sharing and clothes sharing but it's never been our "luck" for things to go that way LOL.  I'm really feeling like this baby is a boy and that's just fine too :)
