Insurance policy for shared nanny

Hi,

 

We are thinking about sharing our nanny with another family, but we are concerned about the liability if a child from another family gets hurt in our home.

I have read in various sites that some families are just using their owners insurance with an umbrella policy, but the few insurance companies I have called are saying that they would not cover if the other children get hurt.

Can somebody recommend an insurance company that would work?

Your nanny may have to set up an LLC ( easily done online through your secretary of states website usually) and then get a liability policy to cover her needs ( ie the kids in her care) you could agree to pay the premium for that policy. Just a thought
