Pregnant women who get flu -- Greater autism risk

Did anyone else see this? I heard it on the news yesterday and thought I'd post it for discussion since I was able to find the article. (I apologize if someone already posted it sooner. I didn't see it in the previous threads.)  There are no solid findings whatsoever, and the study is unbelievably weak, but yet the studies' authors still "recommended that pregnant women get the flu shot."

I hadn't seen that, thanks for posting it.  I think it's good to be on guard for researchers who overstate their conclusions, but I'm interested in why you found the study to be unbelievably weak and the findings not solid?

I did read about this a couple of days ago. If i recall, they looked at a bunch of factors in pregnancy to search for correlation with autism in the resulting child. The things they found were correlated we're if the pregnant mother had had flu, particularly if they had had a fever resulting from the flu. They also found some correlation with antibiotic use in pregnancy.
