I was overweight to start before I found out I was pregnant (which happened to be on Christmas day by the way!).
I ended up gaining 50 lbs over my pregnancy....my precious baby girl was born and I started wearing her as soon as I was healed up after a week or two. That's when I started moving around...talking walks...doing the laundry...washing dishes all while wearing her close to my heart. As she got a little older I found myself doing all kinds of moving around and bouncing on exercise balls while she was in her Mai Tie and trying to calm her when she was fussy or just put her to sleep.
That's when it came to me...why don't I start doing exercises since I'm already doing all of this work anyway it might as well double as a workout for me. I started doing squats and twists and other random exercises and she started falling asleep even faster. The weight just started melting away at the same time!
So I wanted to share this with all the other new mom's out there!!! That's what inspired me to create The Babywearing Workout.
