LOL!!!  yes.  i found some great size 9 boy shorts panties that actually are comfortable and i like the way they look (not sure if cute works as a definition when they can double as a sail)

i'm wearing 2 old navy skirts and sweaters and i look a lot like Velma in Scooby-Doo except pregnant and also wearing leg warmers.  i quit.  but i did find a couple of dresses (NOT maternity, just large) that i bought at this stage last pregnancy.  and my hubby told me they looked really cute.  TJ Maxx.  not maternity, but blousey.  He's banned a couple of maternity items that he thinks are just unattractive.  I haven't hit the whale dress YET.  I have one dress, that when it's the only thing that fits (my mom made it for me) is the sign that i'm due b/c i can only wear it for so long, but when i'm that large, i'm pretty much on the way out.

And  to the Android and wii mamas!!!  definitely something crazy going on in there!!

I definitely have an "about to pop this thing out" dress too, but it's a sundress so I doubt I'll wear it this time around. I found some nice boyshort underwear at Target-- Hanes brand-- and I think I need to buy more because they are the only ones that truly fit me now. And it would be nice to have more than 3 pairs of underwear that fit!

yup- i found them there.  i got 6 pairs and that's the necessary minimum b/c 1 pair already got lost, and i can't do laundry every 2 days!!!

hmmmm- need a winter about to pop dress!  your style is so cute.  i love your belly pics b/c i'm always checking out your wardrobe too.  i can see that you'd be the mom who's always put together!

Aw thanks!! Putting outfits together is something that keeps me sane and gives me a small amount of "me" time. We'll see if that's still possible when I've got a newborn !

Yeah, absolutely HAD to get the underwear today as I've been rotating 4 pair and 2 are officially too small. Now gotta wash the new ones and I'll have a whopping 7 to choose from. Woohoo!
I've been trying to find a perfect, adorable sweater dress with no success. I did find a great wool sweater that ain't sexy (I love it though) but I've just been too cold at home in the mornings and evenings. I live in hawaii, so sweater dresses would basically never sell if the stores brought them in. But I'm at 3500 ft. elevation and we get into the 40s and 50s here in the winter. So I keep checking ebay.

Agreed, loveandgarbage always looks super cute and put together in belly photos!

Thanks mamas for all the cloth diaper suggestions, I will definitely try them out!  I'll probably wait a few more weeks so I don't have to re-wash them before baby's arrival.

I completely forgot how uncomfortable all the 3rd trimester bb movements would be.  He never stops moving NEVER!   Other than that I'm just tired.

I've been pretty frumpy this pregnancy but finally got some clothes that fit me right! The clothes I wore in my last pregnancy are just huge, so I had a few different non-maternity shirts I'd been wearing and they were getting too short. I got an awesome pair of flat-heeled suede boots and have been able to wear my skirts again and found several more earlier this week (thrift store!) along with various shirts and sweaters. I was in a clothing rut and finding some cute stuff is uplifting, haha!

That's great, Josie! I need to find time to go thrifting soon. My bump just had a growth spurt and I can no longer wear certain items I had been counting on.

I guess I'm officially "there" today (according to some sources, at least-- I'm 27wks today)!  Wow!  I have to say, it's been a long time in coming.  Not as long as some people, surely, but I've been pregnant almost continuously since February (m/c), with just a 6 week break, and still have, oh, 12-15 weeks to go.

Can't believe we are down to the single digit weeks!  I have 9 weeks 3 days left till my 'due date'.  I am starting to feel really big and can't do as much as I have been able to .  I can barely sleep on my stomach, it is getting hard to cross my legs, I can still put shoes on, but almost everything leaves me out of breath and I have not exercised in almost 2 weeks.... arghhh

Sometimes I forget that I can't cross my legs anymore and it leads to this awkward leg movement that gathers attention from others without resolving (usually in meetings at work).

I've recently discovered a love of nasal strips and seriously need to send the inventor a box of chocolates or something. I can finally sleep through the night without issue (aside from waking up to pee, but that doesn't bother me). What a genius product!

I'm officially too big for my maternity pantyhose as well, which I discovered when I had an insanely frustrating day last week where I wore a dress. I walk for 20 minutes to the ferry terminal every morning and gave up on trying to keep them pulled over my belly while simultaneously trying to keep my head down and mittens on to stay warm (it is FREEZING here these days) about halfway there and just let them droop around to my knees. When I arrived at the terminal, I went to the bathroom to pull them up and put my hand through them, creating a hole which promptly ran down all the way my leg

my one pair is just on the edge, and this is convincing me that maybe i should just get some leggings or new stockings before i do the very same thing!!!!

old navy just got a maternity department here, so this week i'm getting leggings.

i still don't have the guts to wear leggings. they make me look frumpy in the dumpy, even when i'm not pregnant. i feel like it would make life easier sometimes though.

yeah- i wear them under skirts and under leg warmers.  so i use them like stockings, not like leggings.  i have high boots, sweater dresses, and a collection of knee length skirts that i wear over them and i'm just frumpy dumpy these days!  it's so cold here, that they're nice since they're thicker.

Speaking of leggings, I wear them the same way as you, HoP. By themselves, oh heck no, lol! I am finding though, that my skirts cling to the leggings and it looks and feels weird. Is there a such thing as a slicker material legging? One that won't 'grab' my skirts? I like leggings because they are warm, pantyhose just won't cut it.

I just had to have a tutorial for DH and DD on the differences between leggings, tights and leg warmers.  DH seriously can not get them straight, and since he is often the one to get DD dressed in the morning he's been teaching her the wrong terms too LOL.  He calls all tights and leg warmers leggings, and leggings are just pants.

sounds like my hubby. this goes for everything though. if they go on your legs, they're pants. if it's long-sleeved, it's a sweater. if it's blue, it's blue. there are no shades, just what it is.

This was the biggest change! Does this baby not sleep anymore? I'm stoked we're head down though the foot in ribs is less great.

A new thing I love is I keep getting offered a foot pushing up at the top of my belly. Not kicking just feeling along there. If I oblige with a massage that little foot just stays right there and baby seems to go to sleep hubby and I take turns on foot massage duty.
