Ana Lore (On-Uh Lori) was born Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:24 pm after about 8 hrs of labor. She was 6 lbs 1 oz and 20" long. She acutally turned sometime that day and was born properly! I tore pretty bad but other than that, we're great! More when I am back in the swing.

We think she's adorable! Everyone's doing fine!

Awww, wonderful!!!! Congrats!!! FWIW, I tore pretty badly with DS but recovered just fine after a few weeks. Be sure to take it easy!

Awww she is precious!  Congratulations!  I tore badly also with my last.  The peri bottle and frozen diapers were my best friends for the first week.  I healed well after a few weeks.  Happy babymoon and take care of yourself.

Congrats on your beautiful girl! Not sure what time zone you're in but looks like we were giving birth around the same time! My son was born at 8:14 pm PDT on the 12th. Birthdate buddies!

FWIW, i'm recovering from a second-degree tear, and my midwives recommended making ice packs by filling condoms with a solution of 1/4 alcohol and 3/4 water and then freezing. wrap in a small washcloth before applying. they're the perfect size/shape.

Thanks everyone, she's doing great so far - so is Mama!  Her APGARs were both 9s.

At her 72 hr check, she was down to 5 lbs 12 oz, my milk had come in the night before, and she was eating like a champ, despite my flat nipples and huge boobs.

At her one week check up (which was actually 6 days since MW had to go back 2 hrs to Spokane) she was back to 6 lbs and doing great. My MW said that she's surprised how well it's all going. I am too for that matter.

I'm in the PT Zone too, babychak! That was about the time things started heating up for me.
