Right Hemisphere Syndrome?

Thread Starter

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good website for parents struggling with (specifically, a teen) child with this dx? My sister is an awesome girl, always been a special person, but she's heading toward graduation (from high school) next spring and is running into a lot of problems right now due to stress and insecurity because of her delays/social "differences" (thinking about "what's next" etc...everyone else is excited about getting a job/college/being independent she is scared to death) and parenting her is wearing my mother so thin. She is doing her best...but I think she could really use some support and/or resources. I'm drawing a real blank when I do an internet search...am I searching wrong? Is there no place to go for good information?

Thank you in advance for any help. <3

I've never heard of that dx.  Who issued it?  (what kind of dr.)  And what are the symptoms?

You might also want to pose this to one of the doctors in our "Ask the Experts" area of MDC:
