Moving from Cosleeping - 4yo and 3 yo

Thread Starter

I have been cosleeping with both kids since birth and am wanting to try a gentle method for moving into my own space.  I have tried getting them to sleep and then falling asleep in another room and then returning when they cry "hold me".  I then go back to the other return, and the cycle continues.

Just looking for some gentle ideas from people that have been here before.  I am not in a rush, but just looking to the future.

Thank you very much,

Lia

I get my kids to sleep in their beds (well, the beds are pushed together so it's kind of one bed) and go to sleep in my bed. If they wake up during the night, they just come in to my bed and go back to sleep. Can you just get them to come in to your bed?
