Cramping after period, copper iud

I have no intensions of starting a family, but have had some uncommon symptoms and am looking for help. I have a blood clotting disorder and I am unable to take hormonal birth control, when I found out about paragard I was very excited and jumped at the chance to try it. I've always had heavy and painful periods so I was nervous about severe cramps and bleeding, but so far it has been an ok experience. My periods are shorter for the most part, but occasionally unpredictable. Sometimes cramping is severe and bleeding isn't bad, sometimes the opposite. I do have occasional and mild cramping after sex, but it's tolerable and I've learned to deal with it.

I've had my paragard about 5 months. I believe I now experience ovulation cramping and spotting, not every month but a few days to a week before my period. My last period came on normally, a little light spotting and cramping, then normal bleeding but slightly more severe cramps then usual. Worst at night. It only lasted four days, shorter then the usual 5 to 7, but still heavy at times. After that there has been no more bleeding but I have been up the past three nights with severe cramping. The cramping is accompanied by diarrhea, but is most definitely uterine, and not stomach related. I haven't had a restful sleep in a few nights now and am getting concerned. Advil makes them go away eventually, so I'm tempted to take a bunch before I go to sleep but also want to keep an eye on this issue. Now that I am aware and concerned about this I can sense some discomfort during the day, but the pain at night is unbearable. Why am I cramping after my period? Why is the pain only severe at night? Not sure if any of this is related, but I've had random sinus feeling headaches through out the day, occasionally with slightly blurred vision, and a feeling of pressure when I pee, almost like I am pre uti. Gynecologist visit in order, but with a crazy work schedule I've been putting it off.

Getting more concerned now. Feeling a strong pressure on my bowls and bladder and urinating frequently. Made an appointment with the gynocologist but they can't take me for another two weeks. Curious if the cramps come back tonight. I've read about some possible aliments and they range from cysts, irregular cell growth and pregnancy. Just wish I knew what was going on. Impossible to be pregnant after a fairly normal, on time period right?

I know it's been almost a year but I would like to know if you found out what was wrong with you. Your symptoms are extremely similar to mine... headaches, cramps and mild spotting. Even the diarrhea with the exception that mine is in the mornings.. Every mornings :-(
