How to deal with intimacy and post-baby "badges of honor?" (single dating)

...among other things. And I'm not talking about stretch marks. I'm talking about a (yes, I'll just say it) hemorrhoid that never went away after the last pregnancy. I'm very embarrassed and self-conscious about it and I'm wondering how the rest of you single and dating moms deal with things like this? I would love your thoughts. And I am specifically talking about single mothers. I know it's not really an issue when you're partnered with the man you had the pregnancy with (btdt).

Why not get it removed?  In some cases, it can become thrombosed.  It's a very quick same day procedure.  You get injected with a local anesthetic and it gets cut out.  End of story.  I had it done right after DD's birth because mine hurt so badly I could barely sit down.

i think they are common enough that your date wont even notice.(he probably has it himself) Even if youve never had a baby, chances are, your body isnt perfect. And if it is perfect, you wont think its perfect.

Point is, you could always just keep the light low :-)

Aren't there common complications with this surgery? And can't they just come right back? Maybe the person I know who had the surgery had a much worse case than me but they were in severe pain and immobile for days and then they came back anyway.
