Help me figure out what to do with lots of accidentally defrosted meat.

So our fridge went kaput and while we were waiting for the new one to arrive all the meat in my freezer defrosted. It was kept in a cooler on ice the whole time so I'm not worried about it being safe to eat, but I now need to cook it all before I can freeze it again.

I have about 6 lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts and a couple of pounds of spicy italian sausage. The sausage I figure I could just brown and re-freeze, but thought I'd include it in case anyone had a better idea. Right before this happened I made a crock pot full of shredded chicken for mexician type dishes so I don't need any more of that.

you could throw the chicken breast on the grill- either whole or in strips, to have for quick easy meals... or chop it up and cook, if you use lots of recipes that call for bite sized pieces
