Toy for Tots Experience??

I was wondering if anyone has used them.  I have hit rock bottom the last 2 years going thru an ugly divorce.  No support in over 2 years still trying to get wage garnishments I wasn't able to do christmas last year for them at all because rent and daycare took every dime I had plus extra from my mom and dad.  Then in Feb this year I got laid off I was able to draw unemployment until 11/4 then nothing no 4th tier so I'm living on 500 per month (boyfriends income after his support) and it takes all that for the necessities.  So all that said my mom told me she signed my kids up for toys for tots about a month ago but I haven't heard from them does anyone know what happens with them?? do they contact me ??

I think they should probably contact you, but I would call them again and check in. I have used santapal before, and I think they get help from toys for tots. I had to go in with income verification and fill out info on all my kids. I have also gotten christmas help from local christian ministries and the public schools my kids go to. Best of luck to you and christmas help is some of the easiest assistance to get, if toys for tots isn't working out for you, look for a different agency to help.
