Confused about home preg test and spotting? Preg or period?

I was 6days late when taking this.. I kept telling my mother I felt preg so she buys two test to prove me "wrong" this was our final score. I showed my husband but the next day I started lightly bleeding ..pinkish then by night it Was a little redder 24hrs later it was over..I went to the health clinic they said to go to the er which I found ridiculous being that I felt no pain. I've just talked myself into thinking I'm not pregnant. But now I'm hurting on my left side .. Hurts to cough and move in some cases. Like a pulling pain in my left ovary. I'm thinking this is due to long sex session last night.. I'm confused I've yet to retest or see my pcp .. Im starting to think there's something wrong other than preg .. Bc the pain comes and goes just sex from last night has made it worst since I've been awake. So confused

I would test again.  Many women have spotting in early pregnancy.

Maybe the reason they are telling you to go to the ER is because they are concerned it's ectopic.

False postitives are rare. Are you still feeling pain? If so I'd get checked out soon. I don't want to freak you out about the whole ectopic thing. But it is serious, so if you have multiple symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy, I'd definitely get checked out ASAP.

See when I first looked at it I thought I saw a faint line.. But mom said no. I went and looked again maybe 10-15mins later and it was it is in the picture. &i just gave my son a bath and sitting on the side and bending over created pressure.. Not so much as pain. Just a reminder "oh hey u could have problem" type deal. Lol lack of better words. Before my period or spotting (whatever that was) I did have sore breast .. I would throw up at strange smells, but now breast aren't as sore I haven't thrown up in a wk? Like I feel fine .. It's now the pulling pressure from time to time..
