Interesting. My 9yo son scored high Logical-Mathematic, Spatial, and Intrapersonal. He loves to read and spells well but otherwise very low on the Linguistics, Kinesthetic, and Interpersonal. We are trying to figure out a way to homeschool him, because he does not get along well in a classroom setting. He approaches concepts from a completely different perspective than most of his teachers and in addition is not a conformer. Scores high on achievement tests, but "flunks" his classroom work.

I took the evaluation for my 9 year old. It said he was a spatial learner.
post #267 of 45211/21/12 at 4:59pmI have completed the evaluation!
I completed the survey for my daughter Talia. She didn't score very highly in any of them, but did get a '4' in the kinesthetic section - no surprise there really! Anyway, she has Dyslexia and struggles to learn. She would be in grade 3 in 'school', but I'd say we're at a grade 2 in reading level by homeschooling, so she is doing really well now!
I started to do the survey for my son Jonathan, but realized it didn't fit him that well quite yet at the age of 5! Maybe next year!
Kindly enter me into your Homeschool Curriculum draw!
Thanks! :)

post #271 of 45211/21/12 at 6:28pmTook the evaluation. Such a great tool to see what type of learners my boys are.
post #272 of 45211/21/12 at 6:38pmI gave the evaluation to my 3rd and 4th(youngest). How accurate it was ! My son(#3) is super athletic and coordinated but could do without the whole chatter box social thing scored very high in the spatial and Bodily Kinesthetic area and low in the interpersonal section. My daughter does not consider herself "doing anything fun" unless other people are doing it with her. She was high in teh interpersonal and Linguistic areas. I wonder how much birth order plays into learning styles. This was very enlightening! Thank you! i will be giving it the rest of my family as well.

Very interesting! I did the evaluation for each of my children and got one linguistic, one musical, and one logical-mathematical.
