Anchorage pedi's

Anyone know any Anchorage pedi's who will go along with not vax-ing? We used to see Darcy Lucy until she left to the valley. We've gone to both LaTouche and Anchorage Pediatric Group, both are pretty pro-vax, PLUS horrible experience at LaTouche that would make me never go there again even if they -were- lenient. I'd actually prefer a NP over a pedi, but can't find one who doesn't have the pediatricians view on vaccinations *sigh*

My kids are on DKC as well.

I have had a good expereince with Children's clinic. They ask and I decline and I sign a waiver and we move on.  I also love the Natural Health Center and if I didn't go to church with my pedi I would prob switch to them for my kids!!

What was the bad experience at LaTouche? I have had good experiences with them so I'm interested in knowing.

I used to recommend MY HEALTH CLINIC off Abbott but not so sure any more. One of the NP's there seems to be pretty pro-vax and also just not willing to listen to her patients. :(

Dr. Hepler completely botched my sons circumcision, then when he fixed it, he messed it up again. We had to take him to an urologist, he had to be put under anesthesia, etc. to correct it. He had so much scar tissue and the skin was starting to grow over the urethra which eventually he was peeing straight blood :\ It was a year and a half of doing the ring around with getting LaTouche to pay for the medical expenses and admitting fault. We finally settled with them in May, but I still would never go back after that. Plus, they always told me that minus religious exemptions, they required their patients to vax lol.

My friends have recommended Dr Parker in Palmer, he runs COHO Family Medicine next door to the Heritage Birth Center.

We go to an ND in Palmer at Soaring Crane Natural Health Clinic, Dr. Amy Chadwick.  I love her and so does my son!  I've heard good things about Dr. Parker too though :) And there is an ND in Anchorage named Dr. Madeleine Morrison that I've heard of too...
