Sounds promising, Carolynn! GL with Disney! What cycle day are they aiming to do the biopsy?

Hi!

I am CD13 today.  She wanted to do it a few days before my period but I don't think we are going to catch that this time.  I don't really mind :-)

Won't that be no good if you're getting a babe nestled in there? Or does she think you'd see a BFP by then if you were going to get one that cycle?

When are you testing? :)

I think they do do a preg test beforehand, but she did warn me there was a 1/1000 chance of disturbing a pregnancy if there was one.

I think that I am going to cancel my tests for this month.  Just doesn't feel right.  I think I am going to just go with the monitored cycle and see what that reveals...

Super happy that I ran my Goofy!  Half-marathon on Saturday, full on Sunday.  Home and sore.

I also got AF this morning.  11DPO, 21 day cycle.  Chart looked great though, other than short. Perhaps the exertion started AF a little early.

Have mixed feelings as I was worried that if I was pregnant that the weekend of intense exercise could put LO in jeopardy, but being pregnant would have been terrific.

I am planning things for the fall now - give some stuff to look forward to if this doesn't happen for us, or for awhile.  DH and I signed up for the Disneyland Half Marathon in August, and I also signed up for the 10k the day before to make it a Double Dumbo Dare for me.

I start my monitored cycle this month.  That should be interesting, and I can get some test results that I've been waiting for.

Good morning.  CD 13 this morning.  It's so interesting because my FF chart looks like I ovulated on day 11, but I know from US and BW yesterday that I didn't.  My dominant follicle is 24mm as of yesterday and unreleased.  If I am really ovulating this late, wow my luteal phase is short.  I go again tomorrow for the cycle monitoring.

Things are going ok I guess, but the low ovarian reserve thing is rearing its ugly head.  I have 3 small follicles this month (on one side?) and 6 growers.  One was the 24mm and the other was 1.6mm.  I had my sonohystogram on day 10, and wow that was something.  Very acute uterine cramping for about 30 seconds.   I'm sure I lifted off the table.  Anyhow, both tubes are patent.  So that is good.  My hormones have so far looked good in the progesterone, estrogen, and LH levels.  However with a AMH level of only 1.8 pmol that is pretty dreadful.

This week we are doing the sperm analysis.   On January 31st we are doing the endometrial biopsy.  It will be day 18.  Not thrilled that it could disrupt a pregnancy (quoted 1/1000 chance) but it will yield us some really important information about my cycle, so we will go ahead.  I am not taking the misoprostil however.  I think having 3 previous vaginal births will mean that my cervix is open enough to do the procedure without it.  We decided to continue to baby dance this month, and just give everything our best chance.

Around mid-Feb we should be meeting with the RE/OB and get the whole picture, and decide where to go from here.  I'm not sure about taking meds.  If it will prevent/cure a simple problem then I think I would go for it for short-term.  I know that we don't have the $$$ to do full IVF or anything, and I probably wouldn't be a candidate anyways because of the few eggs.  We definitely wouldn't go the route of IVF with donated eggs.

Good Monday morning!

I had my bloodwork and US yesterday and it showed that I ovulated, so likely Saturday.  DH and I did lots of babydancing so that is good.

Biopsy is this week - blerg.  I figured that that timing is actually good as I will be CD 18 and it would be highly unlikely that a baby would be nestled in on post-ov day 5.  Though maybe the procedure is disrupting itself because it bugs the lining.  I dunno.  But I feel better about doing it then than say, Ov+8 or 9.

I also asked about my day 3 bloodwork.  My FSH was 8.0 I believe, so not too bad.  The nurse said they like it under 10.  When I go for the biopsy I will ask again (with pen and paper) and also ask for my estrodiol level.  I am pretty sure that was normal.  But I understand that if it is high then it can artificially lower the FSH level.  Totally overthinking this, but I have a need to control what I can, when so much is out of my hands.
