Love all of your name ideas!

If we have a girl, I love the name Cecilia Joy.  My grandmother's name was Cecilia and she was such an amazing, vivacious woman.  I also love Cecilia because there are so many potential nicknames and it can go in several directions. CiCi, Cece, Celia, Lia, etc.  

I also love Penelope.

I have no idea about boys names though.  I guess I have time to figure it out :)

You all are on point! Dh and i can't settle on names until several days after baby makes an appearance! We try, but always fail to agree until there is a baby. XD I'm fickle. I like to meet them first I think.

I also love Penelope.

Cecilia is a great name. I wish I had a legacy that would allow me to use it, it's one of my faves. But the meaning keeps me from doing it.

Penelope is my toddler's name! I call her Penny.

I think we must have similar tastes in baby names

For a girl, it is Catherine, with no idea about middle names.

Mine is Catherine Grace.  It seems to be a very popular name again.  I just met a 3 yr old named Grace Catherine.

I'm not really here anymore, but I wanted to answer from before. I nannied triplets couple years ago until I got married, and first one was Eliana Joy and the second was Elizabeth Grace (third was Amarisa Faith). They were my life, and it would be a sweet tribute to them to have Elliana Faith and/or Edenne Grace :-)
And my brothers are Andrew, Aaron, Adam, and Asher. All of my boys so far have had family names as middle names, and we want to adopt a little boy with CP if (90% and chance) he comes up for adoption in about 2 months. His name is Dylan, and I'd like to make it Dylan Andrew.

Banana-what about Celicia instead of Cecilia? I've never been fond of Cecilia, but I know a sweet, sweet girl named Celicia, and have always liked that name. It means Heaven or the moon.

I really like the name Adelaide, and it shows up a lot in my family tree from way back (old queen of Germany).  But DH has kinda vetoed it.

My son's name is Leo Allen, the middle name was my father's name.  Last time around DH thought it would be nice to use Angeline for a middle name if it was a girl, his grandmother's name.  I don't know if he still feels strongly about it, but it is a nice name.

My DH is impossible with names. He thinks most of the boys names I like are too Norman. In all are discussions he has only ever suggested one name. One. Søren, which I like as a middle name, but still. Plus we both went to a couple of schools as kids and counseled at summer camps and a lot of names are ruled out because we knew a jerk with it.

Monkey has two middle names, because I did not like his choice and wanted one of my own.

I love Soren! We've considered it, but think it might be too similar to dd (Maren), and also fear the nickname "Sorry" or "Sore". I still love it though. Maybe it will go back into the running...

What are the "Norman" names you like? Is your DH Scandinavian?

DH is Dutch via Poland/Prussia and Russia. I like Edward, Geoffery etc.

I am loving Felix and Calvin for a boy. Eloise or Vivienne for a girl. DH likes none of them. Wants to name the baby something traditional. My toddler is Penelope too.  We call her Penelope.

I love Eloise. There are so many good E names.

Baby name wizard, the book, has a great list of traditional names and names that go with other names (if you like X, you would also like, Y, X & Q)

It's so fun reading all of your names!!

My dh and I always said if we ever had our last be a little girl, we would name her Lucy.  So, I still like that name but it's way too early for me to settle on something.  Right now I am thinking Lucy Claire for a girl, and Noah Isaac if it's a boy.  I love the name Isaac, love that it means Laughter.  My brother is due with their first two weeks before us, so I also need to make sure we don't fall in love with the same names!

I know a young boy named Calvin. He's such a wonderful little person, that the thought of someone else being named Calvin makes me smile

We already decided.  We like traditional, Catholic names - Our DS is Andrew Ryan.

Girl - Madeline Claire (Madeline is the anglicized version of Magdalene)

Boy - Simon Patrick

We don't tell anyone in real life our names beforehand, because people like to give their unsolicited opinion, so you all will be the only ones that know .

DH has already started his ridiculous name suggestions - so far Mordecai and Ozymandius.  Last time one of his favorites was "Help I'm trapped in a Driver's License Factory" which he assured me would all come together when DS turned 16 and got his license.
