I am looking at breakout bras again.  It seems that most peeps wear bras that are too small in the cup and too wide in the ... um, width part?  lol cannot think of the term...

The measurement instructions are super detailed.

Sorry, I'm not a big nursing bra fan. I mostly live in nursing camisoles.

I love the Anita brand.  It did break the bank at $70.  I only have two, so I wash them a lot, so far so good. they are super comfy.  Also I'm a  weird size 34H, so a good quality bra is a must for me and "the girls"

I am with you Vegan Princess- camis are what I spend 90% of my time in. When I go out I have some super stretchy bras I bought mid-way through my pregnancy that work well as pull down instead of clipping open. It gives a little extra support while nursing I bought mine at the Playtex outlet store, but I am 99% sure this is what I am wear Bali Bra . I am using it with an extender per my chiropractor's advice (she is super smart- I did not even know extenders existed and were so cheap until she told me!) until my rib cage is back to normal.

I tried the Motherhood Maternity Bras, but their nonunderwire selection was really small, so I bought one of each of the three styles they did have and they all had plastic ribbing on the side of the cup that caused me ridiculous pain and I only wore it for 4 hours! I nursed once before I made it home to take the bra off and while nursing the bra caused a painful lump. I was able to massage it out in the shower, thankfully. Also, they have a really bad return policy. The lady at the store took pity on me and let me exchange the worn bra (which they are not supposed to allows return on) for a nursing cami.

Hope this helps.

Forgot to add they are on sale all the time, I only paid $18 a piece and they were running a buy 3 get one free deal. Looks like now they are $16. I am normally a C and currently a DD, but these bras have fit the whole time- even when I am engorged they still fit really comfortably in the cups with my nursing pads in.

So, I used to fit nursing bras in my MIL's store.  It's been a while, so I'm not up to date on some of the newer companies, but I have some ideas.

Anita makes great bras in lots of sizes, but they are pretty spendy being a European import.  They do seem to fit a wide variety of breast shapes though, a lot of the cheaper brands don't fit unless you are a very specific shape.

Goddess, Medela, and Bravado have some nice bras in large sizes, they run about $50, still kinda spendy, but not as much as the Anitas.

La Leche League has a line of bras that are pretty good in the $30 range, but most of their styles only go up to DD, a couple of them go as high G, so if you're not bigger than that, if might be worth a look.

Fancee Free also runs in the $30 range and has several styles up to size H, but it looks like a lot of them have been discontinued.  You could probably get them on sale if someone has your size in stock still.

I checked my bras this morning that i bought w/DD1. I have a really pretty anita in 32F. 2 bras are 34DD by medela. I like to wear a modest middle cami with my bras when I wear them.
