Hello!

 

I'm new. I am due with twins on May 5th, so I figured April would be a good due date club to join. My husband and I are very excited but weren't really surprised it was twins. I'm a fraternal twin myself and they run on my mom's side of the family. I've been so sick that I was SO so so glad it was twins, because I never want to do this again! We find out what we're having on December 4!

 

Anyone else expecting twins? I am a member of the twins group here, but would love to find others around my due date.

 

Here I am at 17 weeks (yesterday)

 

Here they are at 15 weeks 6 days. (picture of a picture, sorry). Baby B was sucking its' thumb!

Tiff4ny - Thanks! This group definitely seems more active, and I'm glad to see others at the same stages!
 

bambihelton - Thanks! It's exciting and overwhelming. Right now everyone says I'm cute so I'm trying to embrace it, but truthfully I'm scared of what the next few months hold :)

Not twins but triplets here.. we are expecting triplet boys april 7, but they will prob be here in Febuary :)

Not having multiples, BUT... do you HAVE to have multiples early or is it just that it's more common that they are born early? I know, silly question, but I'm curious lol.

There is a November mama that had her twins at 40 weeks. I think she even did it at home. I think it all depends on how the body of the mother holds out.

For triplets the risk of fetal death goes up after 34/35 weeks but most trips are born between 32-34 weeks !

My mom was induced with my brother and I around 38 weeks, maybe she could have gone longer! I'm just taking it day by day and assuming they'll be a little earlier than 40 weeks.

Jess- very cute pics! I wish I had taken more pics. I'm 24 weeks with fraternal twins and trying to remember what I looked like a month ago. At 20 weeks I was annoyed because everyone kept saying I looked too small for twins. I told them the babies were a healthy size and that the average weight gain charts for twin mommas don't really start to climb until after 20 weeks. Low and behold a month later everyone is commenting on how much I've really "popped out". This is my first pregnancy, so I'm nervous about having so much further to grow. Babies are due April 5th. I told my fiance he's not allowed to travel in March, just in case. :) Also taking it one day at a time. Congrats! I'll have to hop on the multiples page now that I have more time at home.

hello! Thanks! I'm 20 weeks now and have definitely popped out even more. Every day I can't imagine getting any bigger, and then I notice my jacket barely zips over my belly nowadays. :/ I'm in the same boat - everyone says I look small for twins, but one baby is measuring a week ahead and the other right on schedule, so I feel pretty good about that. I'm super nervous about how much more I'm going to grow - I just can't even fathom it!

 

We recently found out ours are both boys - do you know what yours are?

Yay boys:) we are having three baby boys... I am 24 w and measure almost 34 weeks! I have popped out alot
