My DH & I are TTC #4 and I'm still nursing our 19mo DS. We just night weaned him about 2.5 weeks ago partly in the hopes that I would ovulate more frequently (I'd been having AF every 2-3 months since it returned when he was 13mo). He used to nurse all night long and now he nurses 3-5x/day depending on whether I'm working or home. I was on micronor until mid October when we decided we would TTC #4. When I'm not breastfeeding my cycles are normally 28-29 days and I ovulate day 13-14. My last pregnancy was unplanned while using the patch so I assume we are pretty fertile.
AF started Nov 8 (last one was Aug 8) and it was just like a normal AF and lasted 5 days. We weren't doing anything special TTC other than having sex every 1-2 days. On Sunday evening which was CD 18 I started bleeding. At first I assumed it was AF though it would be very early and I don't think I've ever had such a short cycle. But then the bleeding stopped after only about 2 hours. There was nothing overnight and only scant brown spotting today. I've also been feeling nauseous off and on - similar feeling to my other pregnancies. But I didn't start feeling sick until at least 4.5 weeks with them.
I am mystified as to what is going on with my body. Could it be implantation bleeding? I've never had that before. If its not then what is it? A messed up AF due to breastfeeding still?
Should I POAS? I don't want to waste it if its too early to test - those things are exp!
