A Different Kind of Movement Thread

I am 18+3 with my third child. For the last couple of weeks, I have been feeling baby move pretty regularly, but the last two, maybe three? days, I haven't felt anything, and I'm getting a little worried. But the thing is, I can *see* movement in my bump. Like, what looks like kicks, I just don't feel them. At first, I thought I was crazy (seeing kicks/movement, but not feeling it???) but today it happened, and DF saw it too. Is this normal? I never had this with DD or DS. What's going on? Anyone have any similar experiences?

Definitely sounds like an anterior placenta! It's like having a pillow on the inside to muffle any feeling. I noticed the same thing with my second pregnancy -- started out with early movement, like VERY early, and then nothing for a long time. Maybe baby has started kicking at placenta instead of other spots. Do you feel absolutely nothing at all anywhere? Or just don't feel some of the kicks?
