Help with the 'ai" dipthong

We're doing some home instruction for my 11 year old DC's struggles with spelling. She needs help with the 'ai" dipthong like in "main" and "train".  I'm having trouble finding a word list, description of this dipthong and etc. Any help?

Having trouble ... in what sense? I googled <ai word list> and the first hit was this. The second hit was this one. Are you looking for something more in-depth than that?

Thanks! I like the format of Pek's list and think I will use that. Another way my DC learns the vowel combinations is by a mix of learning works withe the same sound and vowel combo (like above) and then by learning the sound and all the letters that make that sound. I've found good lists for other dipthongs but not for this one for some reason. Anyway - thanks for the links and lists.
