I am ridiculously tired too. I want to sleep and sleep and sleep.. And then I either can't fall asleep or stay asleep. :/

post #301 of 3131/18/13 at 7:13pmSponsored Linkspost #302 of 3131/18/13 at 8:03pmi went shopping today and thought i was going to get stuck in the back of the store, i can't push a shopping cart (had my 6 yr old push it) its too heavy and it does something horrible to my pelvis.. yet i felt like i needed a cane or a walker to get out of there, my pubic bone area hurts SO BAD it feels like the bones are broken (spd i guess?) .. thankfully i have a chiropractor appt monday.. it was starting to hurt like this last week and felt completely better for a few days after my chiro appt, i'm really hoping he can fix it again cause.. ouch. i normally have a lot of hip pain during pregnancy but this time has been different.. my baby is also posterior again since it started hurting and i think that is contributing .. (turn around baby!!)

Me too. Because I couldn't deal with bedtime I made a movie theater in our living room, and my kids are in their pjs watching Rio under blankets. I'm hoping they either fall asleep or stay chill enough to wait until my partner gets home to put them to bed! SO lazy.
This is what we're doing tomorrow. Maybe all day. DH is working half a day and then doing our last Costco trip before baby. This, because of the long drive, takes about 5 hours.
I am pretty sure the kids will be outside some of the day, but it's going to be a lot of tv.post #304 of 3131/18/13 at 10:48pm- katiesophie

I have been so tired lately. But I can't sleep at night for longer than two hours in a row. It is so uncomfortable and I have to pee. For some reason I sleep better during the day. After DH leaves for work around 8 I sleep until 10 or 11!
As of this week, I am working one day a week as long as I feel up to it. So I am taking advantage of being able to rest when I feel like it. Today I took a 2 hour nap in the sun with the dog, it was great!
My hips ache when I stand for any length of time. The extra pelvic pressure and lightening crotch are not fun. Baby loves getting a foot under my ribs and stretching!
It's amazing and pretty weird to watch the baby's movements across my belly. This one loves to shake his/her booty!
My appetite is way down. I'm making myself eat small meals of fruits and veggies, so constipation is not a worry right now :)
Today I had to take to dog to the vet. He hates it, fights the whole way. I have no idea why he is so terrified of it. Usually I can handle him, but today was a real battle. Even with my added weight, his 85lbs was enough to pull me over. Armed with a bag of treats and determination, I got him in the front door. After that, I had to sit down, my body did not like it!

we have new neighbors on both sides of us. we live in these weird condos that our front neighbors are only separated by a sidewalk and a 10ft yard, it's like a tight little community. 4 freshmen college girls on our left who are constantly throwing parties that echo through everything-even though the only college around here is the school of mines and i hope they drop out-and to our right are two 20 somethings who we know have never lived on their own before and have 3 huge barking dogs. this condo has been in my husband's family for 12 years, so we know who actually owns the places.
at 2 in the morning i threatened to call the police to my husband since i had still not fallen asleep, and my husband went over there. i don't know what he said, but it worked with those girls. when we have a newborn and they wake her up, i'm going to walk over there with her crying and ask if they want to put her to bed for us.

i hate having neighbors. i cried for hours last night missing our cabin in the woods. but that's the life we gave up when we found out we were having a baby. i'm trying so hard to not be selfish, but i hate it so much and my nerves are shot.

Ack!! All of a sudden my vagina is red and itchy. No discharge, actually been a little on the dry side the last 2 days or so. Initially I was just feeling a little irritated in there and thought that the dryness plus peeing and wiping so frequently was just causing some irritation. Let me clarify that the frequent peeing just feels like normal preg peeing, not like UTI at all and no discomfort with urination.
But then yesterday evening I started feeling definite itchiness and did some gymnastics with a mirror to find redness inside as well.
Put some coconut oil on the area before bed.
I had the GBS swab done on Monday, which came back negative. Right after the swab I felt a little bit of something... Stinging? Burning? I don't know, it was very slight and gone after about 30 minutes or so.
I'll put a call into the mw today but am planning to make some coconut oil suppositories today, maybe with a drop of tea tree oil in them.
I already take probiotics orally but I can insert one of those at night, maybe with more coconut oil?
Since there is no discharge (yet) how else would you treat this?
Was thinking of rinsing after peeing instead of wiping. Plain water? Very dilute acv? Dilute peroxide?post #309 of 3131/19/13 at 10:12am- kellybeth

Quote:we would get snowed in for days at a time, had no electricity or telephone there just very limited solar and a satellite phone, and the cabin itself was leaky and had chipmunks living in the walls. we later found out that our well was contaminated, too. but it was our little refuge on 18 acres. our nearest neighbor was a few miles away and it was just so beautiful. we keep telling ourselves that one day again we will have a better cabin in the woods and little munchkins running around in our gardens. one day.but right now is the time most in my life when i've needed the tranquility.
deep breaths.

Dilute peroxide?I was having a similar issue (not sure about the redness because I didn't look), but I took a long epsom salt bath and did a frozen witch hazel pad and slept naked for a few nights (and put a little olive oil on it) and that took care of it. I, too, felt like it was from frequent peeing/wiping! Thankfully it is all better now. ;)

ooh I understand! I'm sorry mama. :( We lived in the crowded suburbs for 7 years after we got married and finally moved back out to the "country" last year! We only have an acre of land, but we live in a really quiet neighborhood (and around the corner from DH's parents!) and we love it. I know how you feel!!!

soooooo tired! i think i could sleep all morning (and sunday's hubby usually gives me til 10 or so) and it's so much more restful than all night. i go to bed at 9-10, wake up around 8, and i feel like it's 2am. my body is just not feeling rested!!!
and achy all over. this morning hubby snuggled me for a bit (he stayed up very very late doing financial stuff for his business) and had his hand on the belly and the baby was jumping around so much he finally woke up all the way and asked what kind of disco i was holding. baby is crazy now, all day and all night. little naps, but mostly movement.
i was good and made myself a double batch of small almond flour/cinnamon pancakes this morning so i could have a snack while we were out, and then snacked and ate more. but it is hard to eat enough. and greens are running through me too!!!
long morning of BH. lots and lots of BH. and baby not letting me rest, sit down, or breathe- taking over. now (finally off my feet and alone) baby is napping and i'm not having any BH.

but i'm getting to the awkward point where i catch my breath, moan, gasp and suddenly jump up and leave the room if there's anyone around, either to pee, get a twinge to stop, or just do a deep breathing squat. i'm a party animal!!!
honestly, i feel so nervy, exhausted, unable to focus, and just plain UGH. gonna try lying down.... post #313 of 3131/19/13 at 1:07pmMy back has started really hurting, along with my hips. I actually feel really lucky that I've avoided most aches and pains up til this point, so I guess I should just take it in stride. Baths really help. Once DH gets home I'm gonna hop in there with some lavender oil and arnica! Arnica is my new best friend. My crotch/upper thigh muscles really hurt, too, from a spill I took on the stairs the other night. I fell really slowly and caught myself, but sprained my crotch in the process :(.
Today I took the kids to the toy store and let them pick something out, which is a rare treat. I did this so that I knew they'd be occupied for a good couple of hours with their new toys so that I could veg today! No regrets!
