Some Bibb students given unnecessary extra flu vaccination
They seem so cavalier about the whole thing, if it was my child I would be furious. A parent complained that their child got an additional, unnecessary shot, otherwise they would never have realized.
“That got us to looking (into the other vaccinations),” Harvey said. “We’re looking into who did it, who is responsible. But the danger to the children is very minimal.”
“There are a lot of lessons to be learned here,” he said. “We are looking to not have this happen again. We’re putting together a corrective action plan. We’re thankful, because we don’t feel there will be any adverse reactions or untoward symptoms. We’ve proven that we do really well in preventing kids from missing school.”
