Looking for reputable homebirth midwife in central new york area

Looking for a new midwife. I've previously had 3 HB and I loved loved loved the midwife I had. Sadly she has retired and I am in search of a new one in the central new york area, as I recently found out that I am expecting unexpectedly. I know with the awesome laws NY has finding a great one can be a process. Any help would be great!

I'm a little late to this thread but I have to recommend Heidi Ricks and Maureen Murphy from Heartspace Midwifery.  They have been really great!  I love the fact that I can see my chart online whenever I want so any test results or ultrasound results they receive they put right up there for me to see as well.  Overall they are just really friendly and make me feel very confident about this upcoming birth.  They have a beautiful office in Troy, NY and spend at least an hour with you every appointment, address all your questions/ concerns, help you find natural treatments for pregnancy ailments, help you find doulas, birthing classes, pediatricians, offer you tea and even let you borrow books off their shelves!  They let me make all the decisions about my care.  They inform me of all tests and give me information to look over so I can make an informed choice and then help me get any tests/ ultrasounds I want.  Very impressed with the level of care I have received with them.
