Well I thought we had a girl's name picked out until... « Back to Group Discussions

this morning. I was sitting here and then a name just popped into my head. 'Madeline'. *sigh*. The name we picked out originally was a family name-(my mother's name actually) and even though I love it, now it feels like if this is a girl 'Madeline' is the right name. ARGH! 

I've kind of felt that the original name we picked out didn't 'fit'. I assumed it is because we are probably having a boy, but now I just don't know. Madeline just feels right and this is not a name I would have ever considered.

Ha! Well now you have two options and once she is born you can see which one fits her better.  I have a feeling once she is born the choice will be clear.

One of my best friend's name is Madeline, spelled that same way :)  It's really lovely!  I agree that you'll know when the baby comes out, but even if you need a few days to decide there are no name police to hunt you down ;)

I think its a beautiful name! We had a girls name picked out for the last... oh about 4 years lol, and then a few weeks ago I decided I did not like it anymore, so now we have no girl name and no boy name. Luckily we can take a few days after baby is born to hash out the name details if need be.
