I LOVE everyone's bellies!!

And Shanna, I feel you on the tired mama thing.  I keep telling myself I'm gonna go lay down in my bed for 20 minutes but something keeps coming up.  DH is outside with my littles and the 3 bigs are entertaining themselves so maybe nows my chance LOL

Cute belly spotty!

I'm sure you are all sick of seeing my darn belly, I think I'm the most frequent belly shot poster here! But posting them here keeps me from annoying my Facebook friends with weekly photos. So! 31 weeks:

Spotty- I know you were telling us in another thread how small people say you look but.....I don't think you look small at all. Look at that Belly!! thumb.gif

Kitteh- You know we all come here JUST to see big bellies don't cha?  I mean it's not like you're posting a bunch of cow pictures too or anything...Sheepish.gif

Great shot, love the pictures in the foreground...

Well, it depends what you started out as and if you keep the trend of about a lb a week or so, it won't be too bad. It all comes off after, right? :) I am up 34 lbs at 29 weeks. But, I've gained really slowly these past couple months, so I'm hoping to keep it from getting much higher. But, whatever happens...

Bumkins, you look healthy. No worries about the weight gain. :) I think we all have to gain what we need for our particular babies and pregnancies as long as we don't go too crazy. Even if it does get a little more than someone would like. It comes off. Just do the best you can to eat healthy and be active as you are allowed/able. I think that's even more important than the weight gain.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. They made me smile.

Especially this week, I've REALLY felt pregnant. I mean like hippo preggo here.

Non-preggo I am very active and energetic (have to be to keep up with kiddos and the farm) and my usual resting weight is around 130lbs and I always seem to make it back down there between babes.  Imagine my shock when the scale hit 185lbs this week. bigeyes.gif I am really feeling the extra weight but with our home-grown healthy diet I'm not too worried.

I know alot of it has to do with the way I carry, it just keeps growing straight out. My Torpedo belly makes for uncomfortable walking/sitting/sleeping ect. It was laughable trying to paint my belly with henna this week, I couldn't see the bottom side and had to use a mirror.  BUT I know it's all worth it in the end! thumb.gif

SweeetHuck- I am totally bamming about our weather. We've had some sunny days but I was fffffreezing in that photo! We were gearing up to go into town to our local pool so I thought why not (with sunglasses no less) Our spring weather is usually such with some nice sun then RAIN for two weeks.

We live on the coast and I've been so ansy to get to the beach but not 'till it warms up!

We did have this beautiful rainbow show over our back 40 the other day between rain'bouts.

and you thought there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Ahaha, a cow! Of course! That rainbow photo is gorgeous bumkin, you seriously live in paradise.

As for weight, I think you look fantastic and I definitely agree that the way you carry (me too, straight out!) leads to feeling bigger and more hippo-esque than otherwise. It just makes everything so much harder to do. But like you said, the weight comes off eventually, and it is for the best cause in the world.

I hear ya, Bumkins, I cried when my scale reached the 200 lb mark (I'm 5'9" so I carry it pretty well, but STILL.....).  My first thought was that this will NEVER come off and I'll end up a frumpy mom in frumpy mom jeans instead of the toned, fit, hot mama that I want to be.  lurk.gif

I'm 5'8" and at 192 or so. I also carry it fairly well, but once the baby is out, not so wonderful. But, from my experience, as long as you eat healthy and are active before the birth as much as possible and after the birth you can slowly crank it up - being more active, watching your calories in a healthy way (just making sure you aren't going to crazy) it'll come off pretty quick. I'd say anywhere from 6-18 months PP - depends on how your body reacts and how on task you stay, but yeah. :) Eventually. I've gotten to over 200 with all of my pregnancies... I'm kinda hoping this time 200 is my max weight, but we'll see.

Yesterday we had some beautiful sunshine and after working outside for a bit I took a brief break to bask in the glory of the day (then went inside and took a 3 hour nap!).  Almost 31 weeks!

Hmmmm, all my pictures have been me lying down lately.  Maybe that's because I'm feeling HUGE! I need to take some standing up here soon.

All you ladies look spectacular!  I was just thinking the other day that within a month some of us could be having our babies!  Crazy to think there is only 9 more weeks until my EDD.
