Mama4life, your photo has inspired me to get some cropped cardigans, but i cant find them anywhere! Any tips on where to shop?

I got mine at Old Navy! I also have a few other ones from le Chateau. I live in Alberta! Hope you can find some! They are definitely cute looking when you've got a pregnant belly!! smile.gif

ETA: you are looking so good by the way! You look so fit for being 8 months pregnant!

Thank you Bumkinsmom!!  Seems like I didn't start showing until 19 weeks and then all of a sudden baby hit a growth spurt or two or three....  lol.  I'm up almost 40 lbs- hoping to keep it at 45 max by delivery...  I think that I get the award for biggest weight gain in our group....  lol.kid.gif

35 weeks and my at home wardrobe consists largely of tiny shirts and underwear.....My favorite things to do currently are nap, chug milk, eat popsicles, nap, and make to do lists.  Also random bouts of ugly sobbing, mini temper tantrums, and bursts of extreme happiness.  Keeps my husband on his toes I think.  Baby is head down and moving like crazy the majority of the time.  Also intense braxton hicks now.....     Took some naked bathtub photos with a friend I'm excited about....all black and white film.   Does anyone have any fun/creative/all about you plans for the homestretch???

I have a quick movement question (since the last post triggered my curiosity)

My babe has been posterior breech for the past month and I don't feel much movement, other than taps/ wiggles on my cervix or what feels like 'rolling'.  I had an US on Tues and HR is 160 so I know he's ok in there, but still worries me.  Has anyone else had a posterior baby in the past and is the movement sensation significantly different than anterior facing?  (I'm guessing so since limbs are to my back), but hearing from others is always helpful.

I am going to do a self maternity portrait session this weekend, will post soon!  Everyone looks so beautiful, happy, and glowing!!

My first wasn't a big mover either; I don't think how much they move is as important as if you notice a change in the movement (like a decrease).  It probably just means that your LO is relatively laid back :)  And FWIW, I have read that the position of the baby will affect how the movement feels or how obvious it is maybe.

Taters you look amazing!! And I am right there with you about the crazy hormones!! I'm starting to feel exhausted a lot of the time now.  At least when it comes to doing dishes and routine housework.  It was a beautiful day yesterday and I went for a long walk with DS and it was awesome! I could do more of that....cooking and cleaning? Not really where I am at right now.  I wish I was more of a traditional nester!!

I made 36 weeks yesterday! So considered "full term" at the end of this week! Not that I think I will go into labor soon, but I *could* lol

Babysmurf,  I had the same exact outfit on yesterday!  I pretty much live in black maternity tshirts, long maxi skirts, flip flops and a jean jacket (my late preggo uniform of choice).

Taters, you are so adorable! I love the twisty knot top you're sporting!

And BabySmurf, love the look! Im definitely going to be buying a jean jacket soon. Also Hooray for being full-term! (Whenever you're ready, little one...!)

I'm not sure but I think I'm 34 weeks in this picture. Pictures only get uploaded around the first of the month so nothing is ever recent. We're 37 weeks on Mon. & it's a green light for our home birth barring nothing unexpected cropping up. My 3rd trimester Alzheimer's is so bad, Abigail had twins last Fri. a week early by my count & chicks are hatching 3 days early. All of my records are off. Husband doesn't believe a word I say as I've mixed up every single phone message & prepared for plans that no one else ever knew about.Sheepish.gif I just want to sleep & that isn't restful either, lol.

Voondrop! Excellent photo!  You look so happy and glowing out there with Abigal!   Congrats on home birth plans! Congrats to Abigal on twins too!

Once we're past the 35 weeks mark we're home-birth free, this will make #4 water birth if everything goes as planned!  joy.gif

I got a huge kick out of you '3rd tri Alzheimer's'.   Mind if I use that?

I don't think I ever posted these pictures of Bonnie and I around Easter. She's a retired mama now but she's still up for a picture with me.  I'm sure she'd have "ear envy" if she met Abigal.

We just had a crop of 14 banty chicks hatch, second brood this spring..Love my animals love.gif

Taters! You look adorable! And I also love the goat pictures BumkinsMum & Voondrop.

Well it's been ages since I've taken any pictures or spend any time on the computer but this weekend we decided to get our fancy camera out and take a few 'pretty pictures' and capture the last few weeks of the wonderful journey. I'm one day shy of 35 weeks in these pictures. It's going so fast.

FYI: My husband is an ordained reader in the Orthodox Church and these were taken after church so he's wearing his cassock which is what members of Orthodox clergy wear. In case anyone was wondering.

Yes, I realize the last one is blurry, but I love the feel of the picture, I think the blur makes me like it more. Sorry for the picture overload.

yeah Crystalmarie, that last shot is my favorite too. And Tenk you look great, I like the contrast of the bump against the straight maxi.

Hope this one isn't too much skin for anyone. I've just been feleing so ungainley and lumbering lately, so when I plopped down in front of my mirror to pick out my clothes yesterday morning I was surprised that I liked my reflection in the mirror! Fertility goddess and all of that. It can be easy to get lost in the uncomfortable sensations of the late 3rd trimester and lose sight of the fact that our bodies truly are beautiful, and are doing incredibly beautiful work with all of this stretching and aching and heaviness..

That photo is beautiful and artistic, Kitteh!!
