So my question is will it do any good to start late in the game? Say 4 weeks?

Bumkin I am trying out the tuppler technique ( a book with the unfortunate title of "lose your mummy tummy").
I bought it a year or more after my first when a mama at a baby wearing meeting suggested it. I was still having problems with ab strength and it made baby wearing painful. I kind of forgot about it, but am attempting to do a better job this time. She also recommends binding and the whole thing is about how to fix the diastasis. If anyone wants to do this with me I would love the "company".
