Is it just me or do people STILL have the expectation that if you aren't feeding your child real food by 5 months, you are weird? Despite the AAP recommendation of no solids til 6 months?
DS is 5 and a half months old. I have friends with babies who started them on rice cereal, bananas, sweet potatoes etc at 4 and 5 months. So many people react with shock when they ask what DS is eating and I tell them "just breast milk."
I am planning on doing BLW also, which I'm sure will cause a new round of shock and horror.
As of now, he has NO interest in solid food, although he likes to drink out of our glasses.
