how soon can you know if you have a prolapse

Hi there, I gave birth 2 weeks ago (drug free in the water - 3rd deg tear major heamaroids) and I thought I was feeling fine. But 3 days ago I started feeling slight pressure at the opening of my vagina, kinda like I need to expel air. I can't feel anything in there unusual but I have to admit I wasn't really sticking my fingers up there for a feel a round previously!  In the last 2 days I have been able to smell a very distinct amniotic fluid scent (esp when I go to the toilet) and my lochia has gotten more watery. This is my 2nd birth but I don't remember this feeling from last time. I think I may have a prolapse in the making???? I'm not rushing to the dr just yet because a friend of mine told me she had one last week and I'm worried I'm having some kind of weird psychosematic (sp). I mentioned it to my mw yesterday and she didn't seem concerned and just told me to keep up my keigels.

Would they have discovered this when they were stitching my tear??? I am mildly freaking out because of the possible impact on our sex life, everything I've read seems so negative about future prognosis.

Anyone think that maybe it's something else going on?

oh bugger - update - just felt there is definately something there eek

sorry for the delay - I feel perfectly fine although I do have a small prolapse manageable with excercise. I only notice it if I have been standing all day or carrying heavy stuff. phew!!!! appears not a major if caught early
