Help finding a doula

Thread Starter

Hi all,

I have previously posted in the Mass. area forum but have had no luck...so I was helping someone here knows someone who knows someone.  I am looking for a Doula in the Boston area.  I have limited funds so am hoping for an apprentice or someone who is willing to work something out for me.  I am planning a VBAC and feel like I need support.  Any leads are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

try the DONA website, it lists their certified doulas

www.doulamatch.net is pretty user friendly.

Try here: http://www.tolabor.com/Connections/resultsdirectory.php?state=Massachusetts&search=Search

If the doulas you contact are unable to work in your price range, ask them if they know any doulas in training or doulas who work on a sliding scale basis.

Best of luck!
