Yahoo! My nurse just called and my hcg numbers are up over 10,000. I think I am ready to be moved to recent BFPs as well. I am very excited by still cautious of course.

My guess date is August 29.

Congrats again Deborah!

Welcome Becky. Best of luck to you in this cycle. The symptoms are definitely side effects of Clomid.

Planegreen how long do the symptoms last? I'm 5dpo. Not really nauseous anymore but a little lightheaded and dizzy this morning cleaning. Felt 5 cramp like pains every couple seconds this morning. I was hoping it was implanting

Welcome Becky. Clomid has a very long half life thus taking a long time to clear your system. Those same symptoms are also a good indicator that your Progesterone levels are high. Are you having a blood draw for Progesterone levels in a few days? Most likely the nausea and dizziness are from both the Clomid and your progesterone levels at this point since implantation should be taking place within the next couple days. I hope that your symptoms continue and become a bfp :) I'm currently the dpo as you are.

Yay so excited to have a cycle buddy. No I'm not having blood drawn. Dr said to call with bfp or when period starts. I'm just taking it easy today and tomorrow. I feel a little crampy but nothing big.

Stupid question I'm having more cramp like twinge feelings on the left side which is the side I had 2 follicles. Do you feel implantation? If so where? On a certain side? I'm 5dpo and 6diui

Oh yes, Becky I totally agree with Sila. For me the side effects of Prog. were way worse than Clomid. Clomid gave me the symptoms that made me feel like I was pregnant every month, only to find out I wasn't. Progesterone on the other hand, made me feel dizzy and drunk for about 2 hours each time I took one. It was awful. I switched to vaginal progesterone because I couldn't handle that. With the vaginal, I no longer had the drunk feeling thank goodness.

Planegreen what I'm confused about is this round I only took progesterone to get AF I took it for 7 days Nov 21-28. So is this natural progesterone in my body. I have PCOS so I don't even know what's normal. I am starting to feel stabbing vag pains. Lol. That has been normal with AF. Who knows!!

AFM: We babydanced on christmas, and today and hopefully in the morning :) HCG injection tonight and IUI Friday morning.

 

With IUI, how long does it take, and do I have to lay low afterwards??

Becky- I always feel implantation pain. Then again, after IVF, my RE's office requires 3 full days of bed rest, so I didn't have much else to pay attention to at that time. Thanks DarlaWoods!

Darlawoods studies show you don't have to lay low but I think I read that women who waited 15 minutes to get up after IUI had better success. They say gravity and external activity have nothing to do with it but I still try to take it easy. Then again IUI has failed me 4 times so who knows. This is the first IUI I took it easy after and when I O'd and now today and tomorrow which will hopefully be implantation.

I was just reading clomid has a half life of 5-7 days so it should be completely out of my system by day 14 right? Which means by dec 22...so maybe these symptoms are from high progesterone that by body is naturally producing to get pregnant. Lol I have no idea what I am talking about

I know I had to lie still for 10 minutes after my IVF transfer and then I was on bed rest for 3 days. It worked both times I did it, so I say lying low after lying still won't hurt anything and will probably help.

YAY deborah and planegreen!!!! Congrats. I'll move to you to BFPs :) We're all very close together. My "guess date" is August 17th.

 

Cait - any updates? How are you feeling? I've been thinking about you.

 

 

Sorry I've been MIA ladies. I've had a terrible cold over the past several days and have been recovering in bed. Looking at a computer screen was too much until today. SSB- I finally updated on the IVF side! Sorry you've got a cold, that's gotta feel terrible. When do you get to see baby again?

AFM-Day 8 check showed 5 follicles 10-12 mm. I go back Saturday to be checked again.

Hi

 

it's tracyamber here. i am so excited for everyone getting close to bfp and those with confirmed bfp!!!!!!! i hope to join you all soon at the end of january.

i have  a question for anyone this may apply to. when i take the lupron injections i feel sorta..........altered  for an hour or so afterwards and a little intense with emotions. anyone else have this happen to them??

Lupron is notorious fo emotional side effects, though I've never had it for short-term use.

As anyone ever had implantation bleeding or know about how many dpo that they felt implantation pain or bleeding?  I know it says 6-12 days for implantation. I'm hoping my cramps are implantation. What about increase or change in cm during tww? I feel really bloated today with dull cramps on and off...Today is 7dpo

Hi Everyone, thanks for the info about laying low, I'm going to take it easy the next few days and not doing any workouts until pregnancy test. I know endometrin can make you dizzy so I'll more than likely stay at home :)  The actual IUI went well, although you have no dignity afterwards lol.  I felt like I was in a birthing position. We stayed for about 15 min after and I was immediately tired once home, so hopefully that is a good sign.

 

Hope everyone else is having a good cycle and sticky babies!
