More energy? Less sick?

Anyone there yet?

I am 13 weeks and less sick, but my energy level is horrible!  Can't wait for some improvement!

How is everyone else doing?

I'm only 11 weeks and my nausea seems to be less and less frequent, but the energy levels are still really really low. I don't think I would be able to survive the day without an hour nap. I'm really hoping that this improves in 3 weeks!

My nausea is gone, but unlike my other pregnancies my energy has yet to bounce back. I don't need a nap; but it's nice when it happens. If I take a walk or exercise in any way a nap just happens. About 4:00 I just nod off, especially when I'm reading a story out loud covered w/ warm cozy children.

I am just over 10 wks with #3 and luckily starting to feel much better. I didnt have any nausea this time but terrible energy levels and dizziness. Both are seeming to improve a ton this past week.

In the middle of week 12 here - my energy is alright. I can function along with the family now, and even had a great workout this morning without getting sick!

Been off my nausea meds for TWO full days and doing GREAT. I can't even tell you how grateful I am for that...it's such a blessing to be healthy again. Plus, baby started moving (well, I started feeling it) right at 12 weeks. SUCH a gift. I can't even believe I can feel it this early. My first I felt around 19 weeks, second around 16 - but this one at 12? Dang! I love it. :)

So glad most of us seem to be on the upswing. Now for the fun stuff...belly pictures, gender guesses, baby showers.....

I'm 14w2d and feeling great!! I've also been feeling movement for the past week. So that makes me feel amazing! Lol. I get tired around the same time everyday. But I try to keep busy or I'll give in and lie down. One of my favorite things to do when I'm feeling tired is just grab my boy and read some books with him. It just helps to lay down and get a cuddle!
I was so sick at the beginning and I'm finally at the point where I am savoring every little moment of this pregnancy. I get to hear the heartbeat for the first time tomorrow! I couldn't be more excited! It seems so weird to have been feeling the little one move before I hear the heartbeat. But that's just how it worked out this time!
I am finding that feeling good just makes me have such a positive attitude toward everything. I am hoping this feeling good stuff will continue. I don't want to go back to the sick/dizzy days that's for sure!
Glad we are mostly feeling better now! I'm just so excited to be sharing this experience with such great Mamas!

at 10 weeks my nausea broke and now I only experience bouts here and there. My energy levels have been slowly creeping up a bit by bit but still need my 2-3 o'clock naps. I'm 12.5 weeks now

Great news, ladies!  I am 11.5 weeks and yesterday was probably my best day so far re: energy + no nausea.  I am having more and more good days and it is fantastic.  I am even able to eat much healthier food options.  And I don't mean just "stomach" them, but I actually look at them while my husband prepares them and they look appealing.  So I think my food aversions are waning a bit, too!

I am feeling better too.  I still have some tough times, but overall I feel better and have more energy.  I even went to the gym last week!  It was a short workout, but it was something.

Just about 12 weeks now and I'm feeling much better in terms of nausea... but I am totally exhausted. I'm usually out cold by 8 pm. I've been trying to kick a lingering cold, so maybe that's some of the reason for the extreme fatigue...but I'm hoping for more energy and pep around the corner.

Also-- I've gained about 3 or 4 lbs, which is about on track, but I feel fat fat fat!  I don't want to feel fat and lazy, I want to feel pregnant!   :(

I was fortunate to not have/ very minimal any nausea in my pregnancy (I had the opposite problem- I was constantly hungry! eat.gif).  However, this week, going into week 12, I've felt the worse than I've felt so far.  I had to take the morning off of work today because I've had such a horrible headache the past 2 days.  I've felt very tired this week and just plain BLAH.  I really hope that it gets better....  blahblah.gif

I'm also trying to kick a lingering cough/cold that was given to me for Thanksgiving.  Hope you feel better soon!

I am 14 weeks and last week I totally felt better.I realized the beginning of 13 weeks when I was 7:30 pm and I wasn't ready to throw up and collapse. I stayed up till 10 pm! Then next few days I was feeling much better , but didn't want to push it. Later in the week I had a crazy sensation, I felt like I had a air compressor connected to my uterus. I felt like I was getting blown up. I guess a growth spurt. Now I feel good in the mornings but get very tired around 3 (which usually is my down time) and on and off in the evening.

I know this is almost 2 weeks old but I'm so excited to post here now that I've finally noticed a change. I was eyeing this thread with a bit of envy last week when I was 14 weeks along and my morning sickness was worse than any other week in this pregnancy so far. I'm now 15 weeks and I feel so much better! More energy, less tired, way less morning sickness. I still need a lot of sleep at night but I don't get as exhausted as before. I guess I was a late bloomer in this area, but it sure feels good to be here now!

CrystalMarie, I love the quote in your signature!

At 13.5 weeks I am still having some random icky days.  And I am still tired, but maybe a bit less so.  Last night I made it past 11p!!  Holy Cow!!

I've been feeling so much better recently that I commented I hardly feel pregnant! Luckily I've felt some quickening in the last few days cuz it was actually making me feel kinda worried. Glad you all are doing well too!

At a bit over 14 weeks and feeling better! Starting to feel like a real person again. I still don't feel the best in the evening, but it's progressively getting better. And I swear my baby bump is less than when I was bloated!

Thanks Spotty4!

I'm so glad you're all starting to feel better as well!
