How long after toddler has the stomach flu does it take to get back to theirselves?

My 3 1/2 yr old started off with a headache and stomach ache and then went to vomiting and fever (not above high 102's). The fever only lasted on and off (in between when the ibuprofen would wear off) maybe 10 hours. The vomiting lasted about 24 hours, one bout of diarrhea and after that first 24 hours of symptoms.... She has just been very inactive. This is day 4 and she has gotten better each day but I just feel like she's still laying around a lot for her! She has been eating more each day and drinking water and 7up with pedialyte in it. She's urinating 3/4 times a day and been having 1/2 bowel movements each day. Also, she drinks A LOT of milk on an everyday basis so having to cut that out on top of throwing up and not eating for a day and a half.. I thought maybe that was why she's been so inactive! If anybody has any advice, please tell!! Thanks in advance!

Is she breastfeeding or is it cow's milk? Some of the stomach viruses cause an intolerance to dairy that lasts for 6-8 weeks. Breastfeeding is perfect but I'd eliminate all cow's milk (and cheese and yogurt, etc).

If its her first bout of the stomach virus you can expect to see on-going issues (stomach pain on and off, tiredness, cramping diarrhea, and even occasional vomiting) for about 10 days to 2 weeks. The first bout is pretty nasty.

She never was breastfed, I didn't produce milk and actually both girls oldest (3.5) youngest (23 mths) had to have Nutramigen (formula). But at around 12/14 months they were both switched to vitamin D and then 2% for a short time and now 1%. They both had a small bought of a stomach bug around 9 months ago but the symptoms in all only seemed to last 24-48 hours. Tiredness and all! So that's why I was concerned. Today she seems back to normal, finally!!! She's never really been a real big eater but where she can't have all the milk she is used to, she has been eating sooo much more!! Which is very pleasing! Thanks for the help!
