Just for fun - any guesses on this one?  13 weeks, 2 days.  Getting a scan specifically for sex determination at 15 weeks, but maybe someone can see something?  I have a guess, but I'm keeping it secret to see if you agree with me.  :)

I can't even tell if there's a nub there - I'm nowhere near an expert - but that looks like a little girl to me. :)

I also had an ultrasound today and guess what the tech told me .... she's never heard of the nub theory and there's no possible way to tell anything this early LOL  made me laugh because I knew my last 3 at 11-12 weeks and actually with my last I was 10w1d when I had my NT scan and I KNEW he was a boy based on the nub at that point.  So I do not have a nub shot even though I asked repeatedly for a profile view shot of the legs she kept getting a shot with the legs in it.  LOL

I took the urine Intelligenger test and it clearly indicates "boy". Dark green. I guess we'll find out Jan 28th at the gender ultrasound if it's correct!

No, it relieved my curiosity. The results were very clear so I do think it's right. I've told a few people who said "I had a feeling it was a boy- you haven't been sick one day"!.... so, I don't know. I guess I'll feel better once I have the us tech confirm. Now to think about boys names. lol

Hi everyone, what do you all mean when you say "NT "scan, the 11/12 weekish one? I was just reading up on thoughts on the 20week ultrasound, so now i am wondering what i may have missed with the "NT", like if it has a specific purpose ..?

NT = nuchal translucency.  it's part of a screening for certain genetic disorders like downs or trisomy 18.  they do an ultrasound combined with a blood test to look at the chances (a 1 in some#) of the baby having one of those genetic abnormalities.  it has the same issues as the 20 week where they may or may not catch something, but with this one chances are always elevated with age, and it's up to the mama (and partner) to decide what to do with the info.  it's not an absolute test, but some people will choose to go ahead with the amniocentesis to make sure that the child does or doesn't have downs (or trisomy18, etc).
