What probiotic do you use?
What do you think of Bio-Kult? If you like it, where is the best place to buy it from?

I've taken Custom Probiotics and even prescription-strength VLS#3. Didn't really notice a difference except an emptier wallet, ha ha.
I think home-made kefir and yogurt taken daily are probably just as good.
We take Bio-Kult and it seems "potent" to me. I thought I could handle larger increases with it since I consume so much fermented food/beverages, but it was too much for me. I had to slow it down and only increase by like an eighth of a capsule at a time. This isn't really a scientific way to determine how good it is, but I noticed with other probiotics I tried, I could start with a full dose with no problem. Definitely do not do that with Bio-Kult! (You're supposed to start with a small amount then slowly increase it to a full dose.)
I buy mine from Blue Herbs. http://www.blueherbs.com/ You get 10% off if you keep ordering through them and the shipping is free and fast.

I read recently that most probiotic supplements are ineffective. I think the most powerful probiotic is kefir, and also eating fermented food like saurkraut is also really good. Also they are probably much cheaper than buying supplements.

This is completely the case. Most probiotic supps are either dead by the time u take them, or they dont survive your stomach and are dead by the time they get to your intestines where they are needed. the only natural probiotics are probiotic foods like the ones mentioned above. There is also kombucha and water kefir that are probiotic foods.
