I enjoy that movie immensely despite the criticisms that have been leveled at it. I know some people insist that it is unkind to women who are not classically beautiful and suggests that they are not deserving of love or something of the sort. Just to warn you that not everyone likes it. Personally, I don't really agree with that criticism.
The film has a lot of actors that I enjoy watching, including Bill Nighy, Laura Linney, Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman. There's some good music (and some bad), some fun and some poignant scenes. It's kind of like a buffet table - you'll probably love some of it, like some of it and want to pass up some of it as quickly as possible.
One other warning. One of the story lines is about a couple who meet on a film set. They are stand-ins during nude scenes (not porn actors as is often thought) to get the lighting and cinematography set up. They have a sweet, awkward story but there is a lot of nudity and simulated sex. Not for children's viewing.
