I get that it's a reference to herd immunity, but I don't really get why it's funny?

It's not funny at all.  It's a morbid joke.  But hey if it gets to stay I'll take it as a go ahead.

After further consideration, I'm going to leave this thread locked. While it may have been intended as a joke, several have indicated that it comes across as a dig on vaxers, which would not be contributing to the "respectful and comfortable" atmosphere referenced in our UA. Thanks for understanding.
