Carpet Cleaning with a Bissell- quick help needed!

I've read through a lot of carpet cleaning threads on this forum- but am still feeling clueless :(

We are buying a Bissell ( a gift) today! There are a lot of options. I'm looking to see if anybody can safely recommend theirs, and tell me what natural cleaners you have found to be best. Also, I see that people recommend Dr Brommers, but how do you use it? Will that be clear to me once we have the machine??

companies that are as big as Bissell have computers that search the web constantly for mentions of their products so they can chime in on what is thought to be a high value marketing opportunity.

of course if they really want to do that they need advertising memberships, otherwise they need to be reported as spam.
