What's your fundal height? (singleton, multiples?) - Page 5

For some reason I have not been measured once this pregnancy.  I keep forgetting to ask about that and I am terrible at doing it myself.  I NEED to remember next time because I'm very curious.

My midwife measured me today and I was right on target at 26 and I'm 26 weeks and 2 days today. Kinda funny actually because I always measured a bit small with Maddox. The baby is lying transverse right now. Actually kind of diagonally, head down towards my left hip and bottom up towards the right side of my ribs. It's still very early, so I'm not worried at all, but I've already been practicing my spinning babies positions. wink1.gif Hopefully that will help him get into a good position as he starts to run out of room.

I'm back up to measuring 2 cm ahead again. I wonder if I will be measuring higher than that by Wed. Weds. seem to be when my fundal height jumps up another cm each week.

Just had a checkup with the MW and I'm 26cm at 26w5d. I see someone different every time I'm there (there are 4 practitioners) so there may be some variability between the staff in exactly where they measure, but I'm still right in the expected range.

Haha, me too! I've been in a weird place this pregnancy because of not knowing... I feel like I'm sort of stalking the multiples stuff because I'm that woman who thinks she *might* be having twins... I'll be glad to know once and for all winky.gif

I'm measuring exactly on point. Was with DD, too. She was 7lbs 11ounces- we'll see how this baby measures up  :)

I am 33 weeks today. Yesterday I measured a tad over 31 (not enough to call 31.5). I am still only gaining about .5 lb per week, so I hope this girl is growing enough. My midwife did not seem concerned at all, and said that babe's head is very low in my pelvis. My DS2 measured right on and was 10.5 lbs, so I will happily take a smaller babe as long as she is healthy!

I'm interested to see what you get too!

At my 32 week appointment I measured 31. Which was interesting because at 27 weeks I measured 28.5. So we'll see how I measure next week at 35 weeks :)

I bet your measuring smaller because babe is so low in your pelvis already! I'm sure she's getting everything she needs!

I've been measuring right on with every appt. I did with my son too, and he was 7 lbs 1 oz born at 38 weeks. So I could handle that again!!

trisha, i am very curious of you are having twins.  You have measured ahead the whole time, right?

I am still measuring right on track.

Yeah, I have measured ahead the whole time. I first noticed it around 9 weeks but dismissed it until around 14, when I became really curious. I am feeling pretty pregnant at this point... and pretty unprepared because we really don't have anything yet! Gah!! Today I'll be cleaning and organizing so I hope my pelvic pain cooperates so I can get a bunch done! Our place is driving me crazy in that it's not ready yet (in the least for baby). I just came back after 2.5 weeks out of state and my hubby worked so many hours while I was gone that he didn't get anything done. Time is ticking!

I've gained 60lbs so far at 35 weeks and I'm measuring 34. My last baby was 7.5 lbs and I seem to be measuring very similar to last time. I would love another 7.5 lb baby =)

I'm 34 weeks and measuring right on at 34 cm. I always measured a few cm small with my first, but he was 7 lbs 12 oz when he was born. I think I'm slightly ahead as far as weight gain goes this time, but not much. At 41 weeks (went into labor the next day) with my first I'd gained 26 lbs. So far I've gained 23 lbs. I wonder if I'm just carrying bigger this time or if the baby will be bigger than his brother was. smile.gif They did one of those silly pregnancy trivia games at my baby shower and one of the questions was "On average, which month are the biggest babies born?" The answer was May! Haha. Should be interesting to see if that holds true for me and my little one or not! I would have thought it'd be January (when my first was born) because many people over do it a bit on holiday food! (I know I do!)

I've been measuring 2-4 weeks small by fundal height since my MW started measuring me. Yesterday at 35w3d I measured 32 weeks. But she said baby's head is already in my pelvis so that probably affects it too.

I was measuring right on up until 30 weeks. When I went for my appt at 32w5d I was only measuring 30.5 cm. but MW said that baby was low. And I can kind of feel her in my pelvis sometimes, weird feeling!! But don't have that "bowling ball", "babys gonna fall out" feeling yet. Anyone else have that feeling?? I'm only 33w5d so probably too early for it, I'll be interested to see what I measure at my appt one week from now.

It feels like there's something in my pelvis for sure, just not bowling ball size yet, though I'm sure that's not far away. I can feel the head when I'm rolling on the bed and it hurts then!
